Isaiah 23:11
યહોવાએ સમુદ્ર વિરુદ્ધ પોતાનો હાથ ઉગામ્યો છે; તે પૃથ્વીના સામ્રાજ્યોને ધ્રૂજાવે છે. આ મહાન વેપારી નગર અને તેના સાર્મથ્યનો વિનાશ કરવા તેમણે આજ્ઞા આપી છે,

| the Lord | יְהוָה֙ | yĕhwāh | yeh-VA |
| commandment a given hath | צִוָּ֣ה | ṣiwwâ | tsee-WA |
| against | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| the merchant | כְּנַ֔עַן | kĕnaʿan | keh-NA-an |
| destroy to city, | לַשְׁמִ֖ד | lašmid | lahsh-MEED |
| the strong holds | מָעֻזְנֶֽיהָ׃ | māʿuznêhā | ma-ooz-NAY-ha |
