Isaiah 1:23
તારા રાજકર્તાઓ જ બળવાખોર અને ચોરોના સાથીઓ થઇ ગયા છે. તેઓ લાંચના લાલચુ છે, ને નજરાણાં માટે વલખાઁ મારે છે. તેઓ અનાથનું રક્ષણ કરતાં નથી, અને વિધવાઓની દાદ તેઓ સાંભળતા નથી.

| and followeth after | וְרֹדֵ֖ף | wĕrōdēp | veh-roh-DAFE |
| rewards: | שַׁלְמֹנִ֑ים | šalmōnîm | shahl-moh-NEEM |
| they judge | יָתוֹם֙ | yātôm | ya-TOME |
| not | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| the fatherless, | יִשְׁפֹּ֔טוּ | yišpōṭû | yeesh-POH-too |
| neither | וְרִ֥יב | wĕrîb | veh-REEV |
| cause the doth | אַלְמָנָ֖ה | ʾalmānâ | al-ma-NA |
| of the widow | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| come | יָב֥וֹא | yābôʾ | ya-VOH |
