Hosea 8:4
તેણે રાજાઓ અને નેતાઓની નિમણૂંક કરી છે, પણ તેમાં મારી સલાહ લીધી નથી, તેઓના પોતાના વિનાશ માટે સોનારૂપાની મૂર્તિઓ બનાવી છે. મારી મદદ તેઓને મળી શકે તેમ નથી.

| made they have | עָשׂ֤וּ | ʿāśû | ah-SOO |
| them idols, | לָהֶם֙ | lāhem | la-HEM |
| that | עֲצַבִּ֔ים | ʿăṣabbîm | uh-tsa-BEEM |
| they may be cut off. | לְמַ֖עַן | lĕmaʿan | leh-MA-an |
