નીતિવચનો 22:5
વક્ર વ્યકિતના માર્ગમાં કાંટા અને છટકા હોય છે; પણ જે વ્યકિતને જીવન વહાલું છે તે તેનાથી દૂર રહે છે.

Thorns	צִנִּ֣ים	ṣinnîm	tsee-NEEM
and snares	פַּ֭חִים	paḥîm	PA-heem
way the in are	בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ	bĕderek	beh-DEH-rek
of the froward:	עִקֵּ֑שׁ	ʿiqqēš	ee-KAYSH
keep doth that he	שׁוֹמֵ֥ר	šômēr	shoh-MARE
his soul	נַ֝פְשׁ֗וֹ	napšô	NAHF-SHOH
shall be far	יִרְחַ֥ק	yirḥaq	yeer-HAHK
from them.	מֵהֶֽם׃	mēhem	may-HEM
