એક વખત ઈસુ એક જગ્યાએ પ્રાર્થના કરતો હતો. જ્યારે ઈસુએ પ્રાર્થના કરવાની પૂરી કરી ત્યારે તેના શિષ્યોમાંના એકે તેને કહ્યું, “યોહાને તેના શિષ્યોને પ્રાર્થના કરતા શીખવ્યું. પ્રભુ તમે પણ અમને પ્રાર્થના કરતા શીખવો.”
