Judges 3:6
ઈસ્રાએલીઓએ તે લોકોની કન્યાઓનો પત્નીઓ તરીકે સ્વીકાર કરવા માંડયો અને પોતાની કન્યાઓને બીજી પ્રજાઓના પુત્રોની સાથે પરણાવવા માંડી, અને તેમના દેવોની પૂજા કરી.

કદાચ તમે તમાંરાં પુત્રોને તેમની પુત્રીઓ સાથે પરણાવો અને એ કન્યાઓ વ્યભિચારીની જેમ પોતાના દેવોની પૂજા કરે ત્યારે તમાંરા પુત્રોને પણ એ રસ્તે ચઢાવી દે અને પૂજા કરાવે. પછી તારા પુત્રો તેઓની પત્નીઓના દેવોની ઉપાસના કરીને માંરી વિરુદ્ધ પાપ આચરશે.

તમે તેઓની સાથે લગ્નવ્યવહાર ન રાખો. તમાંરા પુત્રોને તેઓની પુત્રીઓ સાથે કે તમાંરી પુત્રીઓને તેઓના પુત્રો સાથે પરણાવશો નહિ.
