Judges 1:15
એટલે તેણે કહ્યું, “પિતાજી, તમે મને આશીર્વાદ આપો, તમે મને નેગેબનો સૂકો પ્રદેશ આપ્યો છે, તો મને જ્યાં પાણીનાં કુદરતી ઝરણા હોય એવી જમીન આપો,” તેથી કાલેબે તેને પ્રદેશના ઉપરનાં અને નીચેનાં પાણીના ઝરણાંઓ આપ્યાં.

હિબ્રૂઓને પત્ર 6:7
આ લોકો તે ભૂમિ જેવા છે જે તેના પર વારંવાર પડતા વરસાદનું તે શોષણ કરે છે. જેઓ તેને ખેડે છે અને તેની કાળજી રાખે છે તેઓ ઉપયોગી પાકની પ્રાપ્તિ માટે આશા રાખે છે. જો તે ભૂમિ આવો પાક પેદા કરશે તો દેવનો આશીર્વાદ તેના પર ઉતરશે.
1 પિતરનો પત્ર 3:9
એક વ્યક્તિ કે જેણે તમારું ભૂંડું કર્યુ હોય તો તેનો બદલો વાળવા તમે ભૂંડુ ન કરો. તમારા માટે નિંદા કરનારની સામે બદલો વાળવા તમે નિંદા ન કરો. પરંતુ દેવ પાસે તેને માટે આશીર્વાદ માગો. આમ કરો કારણ કે તમને જ આવું કરવા દેવે બોલાવ્યા છે. તેથી જ તમે દેવના આશીર્વાદને પાત્ર બન્યા છો.
