Joshua 10:8
પછી યહોવાએ યહોશુઆને કહ્યું, “એ લોકોથી ડરતો નહિં. હું તમને, તેઓને હરાવવા દઈશ અને તેમનામાંનો કોઈપણ તમને હરાવી શકશે નહિ.”

યહોવાએ યહોશુઆને કહ્યું, “ભયભીત કે નાહિમ્મત થઈશ નહિ, સમગ્ર સેના સાથે તું આયનગર ઉપર ચઢાઈ કર. મેં આયનગરના રાજાને, તેની પ્રજાને, તેના શહેરને અને તેના પ્રદેશને તને સોંપી દીધાં છે.

ત્યારે બારાકને દબોરાહએ કહ્યું, “જલદી ઉભો થા! યહોવાએ આજે સીસરાને તારા હાથમાં સોંપી દીધો છે. અત્યારે પણ યહોવા તારા માંટે લડે છે.” આથી બારાક 10,000નું સૈન્ય લઈને દુશ્મનો પર હુમલો કરવા તાબોર પર્વતના ઢોળાવો પરથી નીચે ધસી આવ્યો.

તો હવે આ વિષે આપણે શું કહીશું? જો દેવ આપણી સાથે છે તો આપણને કોઈ પણ વ્યક્તિ હરાવી શકશે નહિ.

“જયારે તમે યુદ્ધમાં જાઓ અને તમાંરા દુશ્મનો સામે યુદ્ધે ચઢો અને તમાંરા કરતાં મોટી સંખ્યામાં રથો, ઘોડાઓ અને સેના જુઓ તો ગભરાઇ જશો નહિ, કારણ કે, તમને મિસરમાંથી બહાર લાવનાર તમાંરા દેવ યહોવા તમાંરી સાથે રહેશે.
