Isaiah 63
1 અદોમના નગર બોસ્રાહથી આ કોણ આવે છે? કિરમજી રંગના શોભાયમાન વસ્ત્રોમાં સજ્જ થઇને વીરત્વ ભરી ચાલે આ કોણ આવે છે? એ તો હું યહોવા છું. “તમારું તારણ પ્રગટ કરું છું. તમારો ઉદ્ધાર કરવાને શકિતમાન અને સમર્થ એવો હું યહોવા છું.”
2 “કૂંડીમાં દ્રાક્ષ ગુંદનારા વસ્ત્રની જેમ તારાં વસ્ત્રો લાલ કેમ છે?”
3 “મેં એકલાએ દ્રાક્ષ ગૂંદી છે. મને મદદ કરવા માટે ત્યાં કોઇ ન હતું. મારા ક્રોધમાં મેં મારા શત્રુઓને દ્રાક્ષાની જેમ ગૂંદી નાખ્યા, રોષે ભરાઇને મેં તેમને રોળી નાખ્યા અને તેમના લોહીની પિચકારી મારાં વસ્ત્રો ઉપર ઊડી અને મારાં વસ્ત્રો બધાં ખરડાઇ ગયા.
4 કારણ, શત્રુઓને સજા કરી મારા પોતાના લોકોને મુકત કરવાનો મેં નક્કી કરેલો સમય આવી ચૂક્યો છે.
5 મેં આજુબાજુ નજર નાખી પણ કોઇ મારી મદદે આવ્યું નહિ. મારી સાથે આવનાર કોઇ નથી એ જોઇને હું અચંબામાં પડી ગયો.
6 તેમ છતાં મારા બાહુએ મને વિજય અપાવ્યો, મારા ક્રોધમાં મેં વિદેશી પ્રજાઓને કચડી નાખી અને તે સર્વ લથડિયાં ખાઇને જમીન પર પડી ગઇ.”
1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?
3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
