યશાયા 24:6
આથી શાપ પૃથ્વીને ભરખી રહ્યો છે અને એમાં વસનારાઓ પોતાના ગુનાની સજા ભોગવી રહ્યા છે. આથી પૃથ્વીની વસ્તી ઘણી ઘટી ગઇ છે અને માત્ર થોડાં જ માણસો બચવા પામ્યા છે.

Therefore	עַל	ʿal	al
	כֵּ֗ן	kēn	kane
hath the curse	אָלָה֙	ʾālāh	ah-LA
devoured	אָ֣כְלָה	ʾākĕlâ	AH-heh-la
earth, the	אֶ֔רֶץ	ʾereṣ	EH-rets
and they that dwell	וַֽיֶּאְשְׁמ֖וּ	wayyeʾšĕmû	va-yeh-sheh-MOO
desolate: are therein	יֹ֣שְׁבֵי	yōšĕbê	YOH-sheh-vay
therefore	בָ֑הּ	bāh	va
	עַל	ʿal	al
the inhabitants	כֵּ֗ן	kēn	kane
earth the of	חָרוּ֙	ḥārû	ha-ROO
are burned,	יֹ֣שְׁבֵי	yōšĕbê	YOH-sheh-vay
and few	אֶ֔רֶץ	ʾereṣ	EH-rets
men	וְנִשְׁאַ֥ר	wĕnišʾar	veh-neesh-AR
left.	אֱנ֖וֹשׁ	ʾĕnôš	ay-NOHSH
	מִזְעָֽר׃	mizʿār	meez-AR
