חֲזוֹן֙ vision huh-ZONE יְשַֽׁעְיָ֣הוּ of yeh-sha-YA-hoo בֶן Isaiah ven אָמ֔וֹץ the ah-MOHTS אֲשֶׁ֣ר son uh-SHER חָזָ֔ה of ha-ZA עַל Amoz, al יְהוּדָ֖ה which yeh-hoo-DA וִירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם he vee-roo-sha-la-EEM בִּימֵ֨י saw bee-MAY עֻזִּיָּ֧הוּ concerning oo-zee-YA-hoo יוֹתָ֛ם Judah yoh-TAHM אָחָ֥ז and ah-HAHZ יְחִזְקִיָּ֖הוּ Jerusalem yeh-heez-kee-YA-hoo מַלְכֵ֥י in mahl-HAY יְהוּדָֽה׃ the yeh-hoo-DA -
שִׁמְע֤וּ O sheem-OO שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ heavens, sha-MA-YEEM וְהַאֲזִ֣ינִי and veh-ha-uh-ZEE-nee אֶ֔רֶץ give EH-rets כִּ֥י ear, kee יְהוָ֖ה O yeh-VA דִּבֵּ֑ר earth: dee-BARE בָּנִים֙ for ba-NEEM גִּדַּ֣לְתִּי the ɡee-DAHL-tee וְרוֹמַ֔מְתִּי Lord veh-roh-MAHM-tee וְהֵ֖ם hath veh-HAME פָּ֥שְׁעוּ spoken, PA-sheh-oo בִֽי׃ I vee -
יָדַ֥ע ox ya-DA שׁוֹר֙ knoweth shore קֹנֵ֔הוּ his koh-NAY-hoo וַחֲמ֖וֹר owner, va-huh-MORE אֵב֣וּס and ay-VOOS בְּעָלָ֑יו the beh-ah-LAV יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ ass yees-ra-ALE לֹ֣א his loh יָדַ֔ע master's ya-DA עַמִּ֖י crib: ah-MEE לֹ֥א but loh הִתְבּוֹנָֽן׃ Israel heet-boh-NAHN -
ה֣וֹי׀ sinful hoy גּ֣וֹי nation, ɡoy חֹטֵ֗א a hoh-TAY עַ֚ם people am כֶּ֣בֶד laden KEH-ved עָוֹ֔ן with ah-ONE זֶ֣רַע iniquity, ZEH-ra מְרֵעִ֔ים a meh-ray-EEM בָּנִ֖ים seed ba-NEEM מַשְׁחִיתִ֑ים of mahsh-hee-TEEM עָזְב֣וּ evildoers, oze-VOO אֶת children et יְהוָ֗ה that yeh-VA נִֽאֲצ֛וּ are nee-uh-TSOO אֶת corrupters: et קְד֥וֹשׁ they keh-DOHSH יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל have yees-ra-ALE נָזֹ֥רוּ forsaken na-ZOH-roo אָחֽוֹר׃ ah-HORE -
עַ֣ל al מֶ֥ה should meh תֻכּ֛וּ ye TOO-koo ע֖וֹד be ode תּוֹסִ֣יפוּ stricken toh-SEE-foo סָרָ֑ה any sa-RA כָּל more? kahl רֹ֣אשׁ ye rohsh לָחֳלִ֔י will la-hoh-LEE וְכָל revolt veh-HAHL לֵבָ֖ב more lay-VAHV דַּוָּֽי׃ and da-WAI -
מִכַּף the mee-KAHF רֶ֤גֶל sole REH-ɡel וְעַד of veh-AD רֹאשׁ֙ the rohsh אֵֽין foot ane בּ֣וֹ even boh מְתֹ֔ם unto meh-TOME פֶּ֥צַע the PEH-tsa וְחַבּוּרָ֖ה head veh-ha-boo-RA וּמַכָּ֣ה there oo-ma-KA טְרִיָּ֑ה is teh-ree-YA לֹא no loh זֹ֙רוּ֙ soundness ZOH-ROO וְלֹ֣א in veh-LOH חֻבָּ֔שׁוּ it; hoo-BA-shoo וְלֹ֥א but veh-LOH רֻכְּכָ֖ה wounds, roo-keh-HA בַּשָּֽׁמֶן׃ and ba-SHA-men -
אַרְצְכֶ֣ם country ar-tseh-HEM שְׁמָמָ֔ה is sheh-ma-MA עָרֵיכֶ֖ם desolate, ah-ray-HEM שְׂרֻפ֣וֹת your seh-roo-FOTE אֵ֑שׁ cities aysh אַדְמַתְכֶ֗ם are ad-maht-HEM לְנֶגְדְּכֶם֙ burned leh-neɡ-deh-HEM זָרִים֙ with za-REEM אֹכְלִ֣ים fire: oh-heh-LEEM אֹתָ֔הּ your oh-TA וּשְׁמָמָ֖ה land, oo-sheh-ma-MA כְּמַהְפֵּכַ֥ת strangers keh-ma-pay-HAHT זָרִֽים׃ devour za-REEM -
וְנוֹתְרָ֥ה the veh-noh-teh-RA בַת daughter vaht צִיּ֖וֹן of TSEE-yone כְּסֻכָּ֣ה Zion keh-soo-KA בְכָ֑רֶם is veh-HA-rem כִּמְלוּנָ֥ה left keem-loo-NA בְמִקְשָׁ֖ה as veh-meek-SHA כְּעִ֥יר a keh-EER נְצוּרָֽה׃ cottage neh-tsoo-RA -
לוּלֵי֙ the loo-LAY יְהוָ֣ה Lord yeh-VA צְבָא֔וֹת of tseh-va-OTE הוֹתִ֥יר hosts hoh-TEER לָ֛נוּ had LA-noo שָׂרִ֖יד left sa-REED כִּמְעָ֑ט unto keem-AT כִּסְדֹ֣ם us kees-DOME הָיִ֔ינוּ a ha-YEE-noo לַעֲמֹרָ֖ה very la-uh-moh-RA דָּמִֽינוּ׃ small da-MEE-noo -
שִׁמְע֥וּ the sheem-OO דְבַר word deh-VAHR יְהוָ֖ה of yeh-VA קְצִינֵ֣י the keh-tsee-NAY סְדֹ֑ם Lord, seh-DOME הַאֲזִ֛ינוּ ye ha-uh-ZEE-noo תּוֹרַ֥ת rulers toh-RAHT אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ of ay-loh-HAY-noo עַ֥ם Sodom; am עֲמֹרָֽה׃ give uh-moh-RA -
לָמָּה what loh-MA לִּ֤י purpose lee רֹב is rove זִבְחֵיכֶם֙ the zeev-hay-HEM יֹאמַ֣ר multitude yoh-MAHR יְהוָ֔ה of yeh-VA שָׂבַ֛עְתִּי your sa-VA-tee עֹל֥וֹת sacrifices oh-LOTE אֵילִ֖ים unto ay-LEEM וְחֵ֣לֶב me? veh-HAY-lev מְרִיאִ֑ים saith meh-ree-EEM וְדַ֨ם the veh-DAHM פָּרִ֧ים Lord: pa-REEM וּכְבָשִׂ֛ים I oo-heh-va-SEEM וְעַתּוּדִ֖ים am veh-ah-too-DEEM לֹ֥א full loh חָפָֽצְתִּי׃ of ha-FA-tseh-tee -
כִּ֣י ye kee תָבֹ֔אוּ come ta-VOH-oo לֵרָא֖וֹת to lay-ra-OTE פָּנָ֑י appear pa-NAI מִי before mee בִקֵּ֥שׁ me, vee-KAYSH זֹ֛את who zote מִיֶּדְכֶ֖ם hath mee-yed-HEM רְמֹ֥ס required reh-MOSE חֲצֵרָֽי׃ this huh-tsay-RAI -
לֹ֣א no loh תוֹסִ֗יפוּ more toh-SEE-foo הָבִיא֙ vain ha-VEE מִנְחַת oblations; meen-HAHT שָׁ֔וְא incense SHA-veh קְטֹ֧רֶת is keh-TOH-ret תּוֹעֵבָ֛ה an toh-ay-VA הִ֖יא abomination hee לִ֑י unto lee חֹ֤דֶשׁ me; HOH-desh וְשַׁבָּת֙ the veh-sha-BAHT קְרֹ֣א new keh-ROH מִקְרָ֔א moons meek-RA לֹא and loh אוּכַ֥ל sabbaths, oo-HAHL אָ֖וֶן the AH-ven וַעֲצָרָֽה׃ calling va-uh-tsa-RA -
חָדְשֵׁיכֶ֤ם new hode-shay-HEM וּמוֹעֲדֵיכֶם֙ moons oo-moh-uh-day-HEM שָׂנְאָ֣ה and sone-AH נַפְשִׁ֔י your nahf-SHEE הָי֥וּ appointed ha-YOO עָלַ֖י feasts ah-LAI לָטֹ֑רַח my la-TOH-rahk נִלְאֵ֖יתִי soul neel-A-tee נְשֹֽׂא׃ hateth: neh-SOH -
וּבְפָרִשְׂכֶ֣ם when oo-veh-fa-rees-HEM כַּפֵּיכֶ֗ם ye ka-pay-HEM אַעְלִ֤ים spread ah-LEEM עֵינַי֙ forth ay-NA מִכֶּ֔ם your mee-KEM גַּ֛ם hands, ɡahm כִּֽי I kee תַרְבּ֥וּ will tahr-BOO תְפִלָּ֖ה hide teh-fee-LA אֵינֶ֣נִּי mine ay-NEH-nee שֹׁמֵ֑עַ eyes shoh-MAY-ah יְדֵיכֶ֖ם from yeh-day-HEM דָּמִ֥ים you: da-MEEM מָלֵֽאוּ׃ yea, ma-lay-OO -
רַחֲצוּ֙ you, ra-huh-TSOO הִזַּכּ֔וּ make hee-ZA-koo הָסִ֛ירוּ you ha-SEE-roo רֹ֥עַ clean; ROH-ah מַעַלְלֵיכֶ֖ם put ma-al-lay-HEM מִנֶּ֣גֶד away mee-NEH-ɡed עֵינָ֑י the ay-NAI חִדְל֖וּ evil heed-LOO הָרֵֽעַ׃ of ha-RAY-ah -
לִמְד֥וּ to leem-DOO הֵיטֵ֛ב do hay-TAVE דִּרְשׁ֥וּ well; deer-SHOO מִשְׁפָּ֖ט seek meesh-PAHT אַשְּׁר֣וּ judgment, ah-sheh-ROO חָמ֑וֹץ relieve ha-MOHTS שִׁפְט֣וּ the sheef-TOO יָת֔וֹם oppressed, ya-TOME רִ֖יבוּ judge REE-voo אַלְמָנָֽה׃ the al-ma-NA -
לְכוּ now, leh-HOO נָ֛א and na וְנִוָּֽכְחָ֖ה let veh-nee-wa-heh-HA יֹאמַ֣ר us yoh-MAHR יְהוָ֑ה reason yeh-VA אִם together, eem יִֽהְי֨וּ saith yee-heh-YOO חֲטָאֵיכֶ֤ם the huh-ta-ay-HEM כַּשָּׁנִים֙ Lord: ka-sha-NEEM כַּשֶּׁ֣לֶג though ka-SHEH-leɡ יַלְבִּ֔ינוּ your yahl-BEE-noo אִם sins eem יַאְדִּ֥ימוּ be ya-DEE-moo כַתּוֹלָ֖ע as ha-toh-LA כַּצֶּ֥מֶר scarlet, ka-TSEH-mer יִהְיֽוּ׃ they yee-YOO -
אִם ye eem תֹּאב֖וּ be toh-VOO וּשְׁמַעְתֶּ֑ם willing oo-sheh-ma-TEM ט֥וּב and toov הָאָ֖רֶץ obedient, ha-AH-rets תֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃ ye toh-hay-LOO -
וְאִם if veh-EEM תְּמָאֲנ֖וּ ye teh-ma-uh-NOO וּמְרִיתֶ֑ם refuse oo-meh-ree-TEM חֶ֣רֶב and HEH-rev תְּאֻכְּל֔וּ rebel, teh-oo-keh-LOO כִּ֛י ye kee פִּ֥י shall pee יְהוָ֖ה be yeh-VA דִּבֵּֽר׃ devoured dee-BARE -
אֵיכָה֙ is ay-HA הָיְתָ֣ה the hai-TA לְזוֹנָ֔ה faithful leh-zoh-NA קִרְיָ֖ה city keer-YA נֶאֱמָנָ֑ה become neh-ay-ma-NA מְלֵאֲתִ֣י an meh-lay-uh-TEE מִשְׁפָּ֗ט harlot! meesh-PAHT צֶ֛דֶק it TSEH-dek יָלִ֥ין was ya-LEEN בָּ֖הּ full ba וְעַתָּ֥ה of veh-ah-TA מְרַצְּחִֽים׃ judgment; meh-ra-tseh-HEEM -
כַּסְפֵּ֖ךְ silver kahs-PAKE הָיָ֣ה is ha-YA לְסִיגִ֑ים become leh-see-ɡEEM סָבְאֵ֖ךְ dross, sove-AKE מָה֥וּל thy ma-HOOL בַּמָּֽיִם׃ wine ba-MA-yeem -
שָׂרַ֣יִךְ princes sa-RA-yeek סוֹרְרִ֗ים are soh-reh-REEM וְחַבְרֵי֙ rebellious, veh-hahv-RAY גַּנָּבִ֔ים and ɡa-na-VEEM כֻּלּוֹ֙ companions koo-LOH אֹהֵ֣ב of oh-HAVE שֹׁ֔חַד thieves: SHOH-hahd וְרֹדֵ֖ף every veh-roh-DAFE שַׁלְמֹנִ֑ים one shahl-moh-NEEM יָתוֹם֙ loveth ya-TOME לֹ֣א gifts, loh יִשְׁפֹּ֔טוּ and yeesh-POH-too וְרִ֥יב followeth veh-REEV אַלְמָנָ֖ה after al-ma-NA לֹֽא rewards: loh יָב֥וֹא they ya-VOH אֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ judge uh-lay-HEM -
לָכֵ֗ן saith la-HANE נְאֻ֤ם the neh-OOM הָֽאָדוֹן֙ Lord, ha-ah-DONE יְהוָ֣ה the yeh-VA צְבָא֔וֹת Lord tseh-va-OTE אֲבִ֖יר of uh-VEER יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל hosts, yees-ra-ALE ה֚וֹי the hoy אֶנָּחֵ֣ם mighty eh-na-HAME מִצָּרַ֔י One mee-tsa-RAI וְאִנָּקְמָ֖ה of veh-ee-noke-MA מֵאוֹיְבָֽי׃ Israel, may-oy-VAI -
וְאָשִׁ֤יבָה I veh-ah-SHEE-va יָדִי֙ will ya-DEE עָלַ֔יִךְ turn ah-LA-yeek וְאֶצְרֹ֥ף my veh-ets-ROFE כַּבֹּ֖ר hand ka-BORE סִיגָ֑יִךְ upon see-ɡA-yeek וְאָסִ֖ירָה thee, veh-ah-SEE-ra כָּל and kahl בְּדִילָֽיִךְ׃ purely beh-dee-LA-yeek -
וְאָשִׁ֤יבָה I veh-ah-SHEE-va שֹׁפְטַ֙יִךְ֙ will shoh-feh-TA-yeek כְּבָרִ֣אשֹׁנָ֔ה restore keh-va-REE-shoh-NA וְיֹעֲצַ֖יִךְ thy veh-yoh-uh-TSA-yeek כְּבַתְּחִלָּ֑ה judges keh-va-teh-hee-LA אַחֲרֵי as ah-huh-RAY כֵ֗ן at hane יִקָּ֤רֵא the yee-KA-ray לָךְ֙ first, loke עִ֣יר and eer הַצֶּ֔דֶק thy ha-TSEH-dek קִרְיָ֖ה counsellers keer-YA נֶאֱמָנָֽה׃ as neh-ay-ma-NA -
צִיּ֖וֹן shall TSEE-yone בְּמִשְׁפָּ֣ט be beh-meesh-PAHT תִּפָּדֶ֑ה redeemed tee-pa-DEH וְשָׁבֶ֖יהָ with veh-sha-VAY-ha בִּצְדָקָֽה׃ judgment, beets-da-KA -
וְשֶׁ֧בֶר the veh-SHEH-ver פֹּשְׁעִ֛ים destruction poh-sheh-EEM וְחַטָּאִ֖ים of veh-ha-ta-EEM יַחְדָּ֑ו the yahk-DAHV וְעֹזְבֵ֥י transgressors veh-oh-zeh-VAY יְהוָ֖ה and yeh-VA יִכְלֽוּ׃ of yeek-LOO -
כִּ֣י they kee יֵבֹ֔שׁוּ shall yay-VOH-shoo מֵאֵילִ֖ים be may-ay-LEEM אֲשֶׁ֣ר ashamed uh-SHER חֲמַדְתֶּ֑ם of huh-mahd-TEM וְתַ֨חְפְּר֔וּ the veh-TAHK-peh-ROO מֵהַגַּנּ֖וֹת oaks may-ha-ɡA-note אֲשֶׁ֥ר which uh-SHER בְּחַרְתֶּֽם׃ ye beh-hahr-TEM -
כִּ֣י ye kee תִֽהְי֔וּ shall tee-heh-YOO כְּאֵלָ֖ה be keh-ay-LA נֹבֶ֣לֶת as noh-VEH-let עָלֶ֑הָ an ah-LEH-ha וּֽכְגַנָּ֔ה oak oo-heh-ɡa-NA אֲשֶׁר whose uh-SHER מַ֖יִם leaf MA-yeem אֵ֥ין fadeth, ane לָֽהּ׃ and la -
וְהָיָ֤ה the veh-ha-YA הֶחָסֹן֙ strong heh-ha-SONE לִנְעֹ֔רֶת shall leen-OH-ret וּפֹעֲל֖וֹ be oo-foh-uh-LOH לְנִיצ֑וֹץ as leh-nee-TSOHTS וּבָעֲר֧וּ tow, oo-va-uh-ROO שְׁנֵיהֶ֛ם and sheh-nay-HEM יַחְדָּ֖ו the yahk-DAHV וְאֵ֥ין maker veh-ANE מְכַבֶּֽה׃ of meh-ha-BEH
