Deuteronomy 27:10
માંટે તમાંરા દેવ યહોવાની આજ્ઞા સાંભળો. આજે હું તમને જે આજ્ઞાઓ અને કાનૂનો જણાવું છું તેનું પાલન તમાંરે આજથી જ શરૂ કરવાનું છે.”

આ બધું તમાંરાં સંતાનોએ જોયું કે અનુભવ્યું નથી, પણ તમે તો યહોવાનાં અદભૂત પરાક્રમો નજરોનજર નિહાળ્યાં છે.

“તમાંરે તમાંરા દેવ યહોવા પર વિશ્વાસ રાખવો. અને તેમના આદેશ, કાયદા, નિયમો અને આજ્ઞાઓનું સદા પાલન કરવું.

જ્યારે ખ્રિસ્ત તેના શરીરમાં હતો ત્યારે તેણે વેદનાઓ સહન કરી તેથી જે રીતે ખ્રિસ્ત વિચારતો હતો તેવા વિચારોમાં તમારે સુદ્દઢ થવું જોઈએ. જે વ્યક્તિએ શરીરમાં દુ:ખો સહ્યાં છે તે પાપથી મુક્ત થયો છે.

ભૂતકાળમાં તમે આ બધું સમજ્યા નહિ, તેથી તમે ઈચ્છતા હતા તેવા દુષ્ટ કાર્યો તમે કર્યા, પરંતુ હવે તમે દેવના આજ્ઞાંકિત છોકરાં છો. તેથી ભૂતકાળમા જીવતા હતા તેવું ન જીવશો.

ઓ માનવી, શું સારું છે તે તેણે તમને જણાવ્યું છે. અને તમારી પાસેથી યહોવાને તો એટલું જ જોઇએ છે, ફકત તમે ન્યાય આચરો, દયાભાવને ચાહો અને તમારા દેવ સાથે નમ્રતાથી ચાલો.
મીખાહ 4:5
પ્રત્યેક પ્રજાઓ પોતપોતાના દેવના નામ પર શ્રદ્ધા રાખીને ચાલે છે, અને અમે પણ સર્વકાળ હંમેશા, અમારા સૈન્યોનો દેવ યહોવા દેવના નામ પર શ્રદ્ધા રાખીને ચાલીશું.
પુનર્નિયમ 10:12
“હે ઇસ્રાએલીઓ, કાળજીપૂર્વક સાંભળો. યહોવા તમાંરા દેવ તમાંરી પાસેથી શું ઈચ્છે છે? તે ફકત તમને તેનાથી ડરવા, તેના દ્વારા બતાવાયેલા માંગેર્ ચાલવા, તેને પ્રેમ કરવા, અને તેની હૃદય અને આત્માંમાં ઊડેથી સેવા કરવા કહે છે.
