યહૂદિ આગેવાનોએ સ્તેફનની આ બાબતો સાંભળી. તેઓ ગુસ્સે થયા. યહૂદિ આગેવાનો એવા ગાંડા થઈ ગયા હતા કે તેઓ સ્તેફન સામે દાંત પીસવા લાગ્યા.
