રાજા દાઉદે તેના લશ્કરની ગણતરી કરી. અને તેણે 1,000 માંણસો પર અને 100 માંણસો પરના પદવીધર અલગ અલગ નીમ્યા.

તે ન્યાયાસન ઉપર બેસનારાઓમાં ન્યાયની ભાવના પ્રેરશે અને દુશ્મનોથી નગરના દરવાજાઓનું રક્ષણ કરનારાઓને બહાદુર બનાવશે.
