Genesis 37:22
રણના આ ખાલી કૂવામાં એને નાખી દો, પણ એને કોઈ ઈજા ન કરશો.” રૂબેનની યોજના એને બીજા ભાઇઓના હાથમાંથી બચાવી લઈને પિતાને સુપ્રત કરવાની હતી.

| pit | הַבּ֤וֹר | habbôr | HA-bore |
| that | הַזֶּה֙ | hazzeh | ha-ZEH |
| is in the wilderness, | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| lay and | בַּמִּדְבָּ֔ר | bammidbār | ba-meed-BAHR |
| no | וְיָ֖ד | wĕyād | veh-YAHD |
| hand | אַל | ʾal | al |
