એમના રાષ્ટો પ્રમાંણે, નૂહમાંથી ઊતરી આવેલા આ લોકો છે. વિનાશક જળપ્રલય પછી પૃથ્વીની બધી પ્રજાઓ નૂહના વંશજોમાંથી ઊતરી આવેલી છે.
