Ezekiel 24:1-14 in Gujarati

1 Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, write thee the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day.

3 And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it:

4 Gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.

5 Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, and make it boil well, and let them seethe the bones of it therein.

6 Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.

7 For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust;

8 That it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered.

9 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.

10 Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.

11 Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten in it, that the scum of it may be consumed.

12 She hath wearied herself with lies, and her great scum went not forth out of her: her scum shall be in the fire.

13 In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee.

14 I the Lord have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord God.

1 યહોયાકીન રાજાને બંદીવાન થયાને નવમા વર્ષના દશમા માસના દશમા દિવસે મને યહોવાની આ પ્રમાણે વાણી સંભળાઇ.
Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

2 તેમણે કહ્યું; “હે મનુષ્યના પુત્ર, આજની તારીખ નોંધી રાખ, કારણ, ‘આજે બાબિલના રાજાએ યરૂશાલેમને ઘેરો ઘાલ્યો છે.’

3 એ બંડખોર ઇસ્રાએલી પ્રજાને તું આ દ્રષ્ટાંત કહી સંભળાવ. તેને કહે કે, ‘આ યહોવા મારા માલિકના વચન છે:“‘કઢાઇને અગ્નિએ ચઢાવો, ચૂલે ચઢાવો તેમાં પાણી રેડો,
And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it:

4 એમાં માંસના કટકા નાખો, પસંદ કરેલા સારામાં સારા ખભા અને પગનાં માંસના ટુકડા નાખો.
Gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.

5 ઉત્તમમાં ઉત્તમ ઘેટું લો, ઉત્તમમાં ઉત્તમ હાડકાં પણ નાખો, નીચે લાકડાં ગોઠવો, ખૂબ ઉકાળો, હાડકાં પણ બફાઇ જાય ત્યાં સુધી બફાવા દો.’
Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, and make it boil well, and let them seethe the bones of it therein.

6 યહોવા મારા માલિક આ પ્રમાણે કહે છે: ‘એ ખૂનીઓની નગરી, તારી પર આફત આવશે! તું કટાઇ ગયેલી કઢાઇ જેવી છે, જેનો કાટ કદી ઊખડે એમ નથી. તું દુષ્ટતાથી ભરેલી છે. તેથી એક પછી એક ટુકડા લઇ લેવામાં આવે છે. પણ કોઇ તે ખાવાના નથી.
Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.

7 તેણે ખૂબ હિંમતપૂર્વક ખૂન કર્યા છે. બધાં જોઇ શકે છે કે મારી નંખાયેલનું રકત ખડકો પર એમનું એમ જ છે. જે બધા જોઇ શકે છે. જો એ લોહી જમીન પર રેડાયું હોત તો રેતી તેને ઢાંકી દેત;

8 ખડક પર એ રકત ખુલ્લું છે. જેથી તે મારી આગળ તેની વિરુદ્ધ હાંક મારે છે જેથી મારો કોપ સળગે અને હું બદલો લઉં.’

9 તેથી યહોવા મારા માલિક આ પ્રમાણે કહે છે: ‘હે યરૂશાલેમ, ખૂનીઓની નગરી, તારી પર આફત આવશે! હું પણ લાકડાનો મોટો ઢગલો કરીશ.
Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.

10 પુષ્કળ લાકડા લાવો, આગ પેટાવો! માંસ ઓગળી જાય ત્યાં સુધી તેને ઉકાળો. મસાલાઓને તેમાં ઉમેરો ! હાડકાં બળી જાય ત્યાં સુધી તેને ઉકાળો.

11 પછી ખાલી કઢાઇને અંગારા ઉપર મૂકી તેનો બગાડ અને કચરો બળી જાય ત્યાં સુધી તેને તપાવો.

12 પણ કાટ એટલો બધો છે કે જવાળાઓથી પણ નહિ જાય.

13 હે યરૂશાલેમ, તારા વ્યભિચારની અશુદ્ધિ દૂર કરવા મેં પ્રયત્ન કર્યો હતો પણ તું ચોખ્ખી ન થઇ. એટલે તારા પર હું મારો પૂરો રોષ ઉતારી નહિ રહું ત્યાં સુધી તું ફરી ચોખ્ખી થનાર નથી.
In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee.

14 “‘આ મેં યહોવાએ કહ્યું છે અને તે, એ પ્રમાણે બનશે જ. હું એ પ્રમાણે જ કરીશ. જરા પણ પીછેહઠ કરીશ નહિ. દયા નહિ ખાઉં, ને હું મારો નિર્ણય પણ બદલીશ નહિ. તને તારી વર્તણૂંક માટે અને તારા દુષ્કૃત્યો માટે સજા થશે જ.’ આ યહોવા મારા માલિકના વચન છે.”
I the Lord have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord God.
