Exodus 23:11
પણ તમાંરે સાતમે વર્ષે કશુંય વાવ્યા વિના જમીન પડતર રહેવા દેવી. જમીનને એક વર્ષ આરામ કરવા દેવો. જે કઈ ઉગે વાવ્યા વગર તે વર્ષે તે ગરીબોને લેવા દેવું અને વધેલું વનનાં પશુઓ ખાઈ શકે. વળી તમાંરે તમાંરી દ્રાક્ષની અને જૈતૂનની વાડીમાં પણ આ પ્રમાંણે કરવું.

| field the of | חַיַּ֣ת | ḥayyat | ha-YAHT |
| shall eat. | הַשָּׂדֶ֑ה | haśśāde | ha-sa-DEH |
| manner like In | כֵּֽן | kēn | kane |
| thou shalt deal | תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה | taʿăśe | ta-uh-SEH |
| vineyard, thy with | לְכַרְמְךָ֖ | lĕkarmĕkā | leh-hahr-meh-HA |
