וַיְהִי֩ was vai-HEE כִרְא֨וֹת And heer-OTE הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ it ha-MEH-lek אֶת was et אֶסְתֵּ֣ר saw es-TARE הַמַּלְכָּ֗ה so, ha-mahl-KA עֹמֶ֙דֶת֙ king oh-MEH-DET בֶּֽחָצֵ֔ר the beh-ha-TSARE נָֽשְׂאָ֥ה when na-seh-AH חֵ֖ן hane בְּעֵינָ֑יו Esther beh-ay-NAV וַיּ֨וֹשֶׁט the VA-yoh-shet הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ queen ha-MEH-lek לְאֶסְתֵּ֗ר standing leh-es-TARE אֶת court, et שַׁרְבִ֤יט the shahr-VEET הַזָּהָב֙ in ha-za-HAHV אֲשֶׁ֣ר she uh-SHER בְּיָד֔וֹ obtained beh-ya-DOH וַתִּקְרַ֣ב favour va-teek-RAHV אֶסְתֵּ֔ר sight: es-TARE וַתִּגַּ֖ע his va-tee-ɡA בְּרֹ֥אשׁ in beh-ROHSH הַשַּׁרְבִֽיט׃ out ha-shahr-VEET
