Luke 6:6
બીજા એક વિશ્રામવારે ઈસુ જ્યારે સભાસ્થાનમાં બોધ આપતો હતો ત્યારે જેનો જમણો હાથ સુકાઈ ગયો હતો તેવો માણસ ત્યાં હતો.

ત્યારબાદ ઈસુ ગાલીલના એક કફર-નહૂમ શહેરમાં ગયો. અને વિશ્રામવારે લોકોને ઉપદેશ આપ્યો.

ઈસુ ઉછરીને જ્યાં મોટો થયો હતો તે નાસરેથ શહેરમાં આવ્યો. પોતાની રીત પ્રમાણે તે વિશ્રામવારે સભાસ્થાનમાં ગયો અને વાંચવા ઊભો થયો.

જયારે યરોબઆમે પેલા દેવના માંણસને બેથેલની વેદીને શાપ આપતો સાંભળ્યો, તે સમયે તેણે વેદી પાસેથી હાથ લઇ લીધો, તે માંણસ તરફ ચીંધ્યો અને કહ્યું, “તેને પકડો.” પણ જેવું તેણે આમ કહ્યું કે, તરત જ એ માંણસ સામે એણે લંબાવેલો હાથ એ જ સ્થિતિમાં લકવાગ્રસ્ત થઈ ગયો, તે પોતાના હાથને પાછો ખેંચી શકયો નહિ.
