જો તમે નિયમનું પાલન કરતા હોય તો જ સુન્નત કરાવી સાર્થક ગણાય. પરંતુ જો તમે નિયમશાસ્ત્રનું ઉલ્લંઘન કરતા હશો તો તમે સુન્નત કરાવી જ નથી એમ ગણાશે.
Galatians 5:2
સાંભળો! હું પાઉલ છું. હું તમને કહું છું કે સુન્નત કરાવીને તમે નિયમ તરફ પાછા ફરશો, તો પણ તમને ખ્રિસ્તનું કોઈ મહત્વ નથી.
