Jeremiah 46:22
“સાંભળો, નાસી જતા સર્પ જેવો મિસર અવાજ કરે છે; કારણ કે એના દુશ્મન જોરશોરથી ધસતા તેની સામે આવે છે, તેઓ વૃક્ષો તોડી પાડનારા લોકોની જેમ કુહાડા લઇ તેના પર આવે છે.” આ યહોવાના વચન છે.

હે સરૂના વૃક્ષ, વિલાપ કરો, કારણ, દેવદારવૃક્ષ પડી ગયું છે અને મજબૂત વૃક્ષો ઊંચકીને લઇ જવામાં આવશે. બાશાનનાઁ ઓકવૃક્ષો વિલાપ કરો, કારણ, ગાઢ જંગલ ખાલી થઇ ગયું છે!
