Numbers 24:17
હું જે જોઉ છું તે દૃશ્ય આજનું નથી, પણ ભવિષ્યનું છે. યાકૂબના વંશમાંથી એક તારો ઊગશે, ઇસ્રાએલના લોકોમાંથી એક નવો શાસક આવશે, તે પોતાના રાજદંડથી મોઆબીઓનાં પ્રાણ હરશે. અને શેથના પુત્રોનો તે નાશ કરશે.
Deuteronomy 17:14
“તમાંરા દેવ યહોવા તમને જે દેશ આપે છે ત્યાં પહોંચી જાઓ અને તેનો કબજો લઈ ત્યાં વસવાટ કરો, પછી તમને એમ લાગે કે, ‘અમાંરી આસપાસની અન્ય પ્રજાઓની જેમ અમાંરે પણ રાજા હોવો જોઈએ.’
Deuteronomy 33:5
યહોવા ઇસ્રાએલી લોકોના રાજા છે, જયારે ઇસ્રાએલીઓના બધા વંશો પોતાના આગેવાનો સહિત ભેગા મળ્યા ત્યારે તેમને પોતાના રાજા તરીકે પસંદ કર્યા હતા.
Deuteronomy 33:29
હે ઇસ્રાએલ, તું આશીર્વાદિત છે! તમાંરા આશીર્વાદો કેવા મહાન છે! યહોવાના હાથે ઉદ્વાર થનાર તારા જેવી બીજી કોઈ પ્રજા નથી. યહોવા ઢાલની જેમ તારૂં રક્ષણ કરે છે. તે તને વિજય અપાવનાર તરવાર જેવા છે. તમાંરા દુશ્મનો તમાંરા પગમાં પડશે, તમે તમાંરા પગ વડે તેઓને છૂંદી નાખશો અને તેઓની પવિત્ર જગ્યાઓને કચરી નાખશો.”
