તેઓને દિવસે રસ્તો બતાવવા માંટે યહોવા વાદળના થાંભલા રૂપે આગળ આગળ ચાલતા તેમજ રાત્રે તેમને પ્રકાશ મળે તેથી અગ્નિસ્તંભરૂપે ચાલતા. જેથી તેઓ સતત રાતદિવસ યાત્રા કરી શકતા હતા.

ત્યારબાદ મુલાકાતમંડપને વાદળે ઘેરી લીધો. અને યહોવાનું ગૌરવ મંડપમાં વ્યાપી ગયું.

Leviticus 9:6
