דִּבְרֵ֣י words deev-RAY עָמ֔וֹס of ah-MOSE אֲשֶׁר Amos, uh-SHER הָיָ֥ה who ha-YA בַנֹּקְדִ֖ים was va-noh-keh-DEEM מִתְּק֑וֹעַ among mee-teh-KOH-ah אֲשֶׁר֩ the uh-SHER חָזָ֨ה herdmen ha-ZA עַל of al יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל Tekoa, yees-ra-ALE בִּימֵ֣י׀ which bee-MAY עֻזִּיָּ֣ה he oo-zee-YA מֶֽלֶךְ saw MEH-lek יְהוּדָ֗ה concerning yeh-hoo-DA וּבִימֵ֞י Israel oo-vee-MAY יָרָבְעָ֤ם in ya-rove-AM בֶּן the ben יוֹאָשׁ֙ days yoh-ASH מֶ֣לֶךְ of MEH-lek יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Uzziah yees-ra-ALE שְׁנָתַ֖יִם king sheh-na-TA-yeem לִפְנֵ֥י of leef-NAY הָרָֽעַשׁ׃ Judah, ha-RA-ash -
וַיֹּאמַ֓ר׀ he va-yoh-MAHR יְהוָה֙ said, yeh-VA מִצִּיּ֣וֹן The mee-TSEE-yone יִשְׁאָ֔ג Lord yeesh-Aɡ וּמִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם will oo-mee-roo-sha-la-EEM יִתֵּ֣ן roar yee-TANE קוֹל֑וֹ from koh-LOH וְאָֽבְלוּ֙ Zion, veh-ah-veh-LOO נְא֣וֹת and neh-OTE הָרֹעִ֔ים utter ha-roh-EEM וְיָבֵ֖שׁ his veh-ya-VAYSH רֹ֥אשׁ voice rohsh הַכַּרְמֶֽל׃ from ha-kahr-MEL -
כֹּ֚ה saith koh אָמַ֣ר the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֔ה Lord; yeh-VA עַל For al שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ three sheh-loh-SHA פִּשְׁעֵ֣י transgressions peesh-A דַמֶּ֔שֶׂק of da-MEH-sek וְעַל Damascus, veh-AL אַרְבָּעָ֖ה and ar-ba-AH לֹ֣א for loh אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ four, uh-shee-VEH-noo עַל I al דּוּשָׁ֛ם will doo-SHAHM בַּחֲרֻצ֥וֹת not ba-huh-roo-TSOTE הַבַּרְזֶ֖ל turn ha-bahr-ZEL אֶת away et הַגִּלְעָֽד׃ the ha-ɡeel-AD -
וְשִׁלַּ֥חְתִּי I veh-shee-LAHK-tee אֵ֖שׁ will aysh בְּבֵ֣ית send beh-VATE חֲזָאֵ֑ל a huh-za-ALE וְאָכְלָ֖ה fire veh-oke-LA אַרְמְנ֥וֹת into ar-meh-NOTE בֶּן the ben הֲדָֽד׃ house huh-DAHD -
וְשָֽׁבַרְתִּי֙ will veh-sha-vahr-TEE בְּרִ֣יחַ break beh-REE-ak דַּמֶּ֔שֶׂק also da-MEH-sek וְהִכְרַתִּ֤י the veh-heek-ra-TEE יוֹשֵׁב֙ bar yoh-SHAVE מִבִּקְעַת of mee-beek-AT אָ֔וֶן Damascus, AH-ven וְתוֹמֵ֥ךְ and veh-toh-MAKE שֵׁ֖בֶט cut SHAY-vet מִבֵּ֣ית off mee-BATE עֶ֑דֶן the EH-den וְגָל֧וּ inhabitant veh-ɡa-LOO עַם from am אֲרָ֛ם the uh-RAHM קִ֖ירָה plain KEE-ra אָמַ֥ר of ah-MAHR יְהוָֽה׃ Aven, yeh-VA -
כֹּ֚ה saith koh אָמַ֣ר the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֔ה Lord; yeh-VA עַל For al שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ three sheh-loh-SHA פִּשְׁעֵ֣י transgressions peesh-A עַזָּ֔ה of ah-ZA וְעַל Gaza, veh-AL אַרְבָּעָ֖ה and ar-ba-AH לֹ֣א for loh אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ four, uh-shee-VEH-noo עַל I al הַגְלוֹתָ֛ם will hahɡ-loh-TAHM גָּל֥וּת not ɡa-LOOT שְׁלֵמָ֖ה turn sheh-lay-MA לְהַסְגִּ֥יר away leh-hahs-ɡEER לֶאֱדֽוֹם׃ the leh-ay-DOME -
וְשִׁלַּ֥חְתִּי I veh-shee-LAHK-tee אֵ֖שׁ will aysh בְּחוֹמַ֣ת send beh-hoh-MAHT עַזָּ֑ה a ah-ZA וְאָכְלָ֖ה fire veh-oke-LA אַרְמְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃ on ar-meh-noh-TAY-ha -
וְהִכְרַתִּ֤י I veh-heek-ra-TEE יוֹשֵׁב֙ will yoh-SHAVE מֵֽאַשְׁדּ֔וֹד cut may-ash-DODE וְתוֹמֵ֥ךְ off veh-toh-MAKE שֵׁ֖בֶט the SHAY-vet מֵֽאַשְׁקְל֑וֹן inhabitant may-ash-keh-LONE וַהֲשִׁיב֨וֹתִי from va-huh-shee-VOH-tee יָדִ֜י Ashdod, ya-DEE עַל and al עֶקְר֗וֹן him ek-RONE וְאָֽבְדוּ֙ that veh-ah-veh-DOO שְׁאֵרִ֣ית holdeth sheh-ay-REET פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים the peh-leesh-TEEM אָמַ֖ר sceptre ah-MAHR אֲדֹנָ֥י from uh-doh-NAI יְהוִֽה׃ Ashkelon, yeh-VEE -
כֹּ֚ה saith koh אָמַ֣ר the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֔ה Lord; yeh-VA עַל For al שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ three sheh-loh-SHA פִּשְׁעֵי transgressions peesh-A צֹ֔ר of tsore וְעַל Tyrus, veh-AL אַרְבָּעָ֖ה and ar-ba-AH לֹ֣א for loh אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ four, uh-shee-VEH-noo עַֽל I al הַסְגִּירָ֞ם will hahs-ɡee-RAHM גָּל֤וּת not ɡa-LOOT שְׁלֵמָה֙ turn sheh-lay-MA לֶאֱד֔וֹם away leh-ay-DOME וְלֹ֥א the veh-LOH זָכְר֖וּ punishment zoke-ROO בְּרִ֥ית thereof; beh-REET אַחִֽים׃ because ah-HEEM -
וְשִׁלַּ֥חְתִּי I veh-shee-LAHK-tee אֵ֖שׁ will aysh בְּח֣וֹמַת send beh-HOH-maht צֹ֑ר a tsore וְאָכְלָ֖ה fire veh-oke-LA אַרְמְנוֹתֶֽיהָ׃ on ar-meh-noh-TAY-ha -
כֹּ֚ה saith koh אָמַ֣ר the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֔ה Lord; yeh-VA עַל For al שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ three sheh-loh-SHA פִּשְׁעֵ֣י transgressions peesh-A אֱד֔וֹם of ay-DOME וְעַל Edom, veh-AL אַרְבָּעָ֖ה and ar-ba-AH לֹ֣א for loh אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ four, uh-shee-VEH-noo עַל I al רָדְפ֨וֹ will rode-FOH בַחֶ֤רֶב not va-HEH-rev אָחִיו֙ turn ah-heeoo וְשִׁחֵ֣ת away veh-shee-HATE רַחֲמָ֔יו the ra-huh-MAV וַיִּטְרֹ֤ף punishment va-yeet-ROFE לָעַד֙ thereof; la-AD אַפּ֔וֹ because AH-poh וְעֶבְרָת֖וֹ he veh-ev-ra-TOH שְׁמָ֥רָה did sheh-MA-ra נֶֽצַח׃ pursue NEH-tsahk -
וְשִׁלַּ֥חְתִּי I veh-shee-LAHK-tee אֵ֖שׁ will aysh בְּתֵימָ֑ן send beh-tay-MAHN וְאָכְלָ֖ה a veh-oke-LA אַרְמְנ֥וֹת fire ar-meh-NOTE בָּצְרָֽה׃ upon bohts-RA -
כֹּ֚ה saith koh אָמַ֣ר the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֔ה Lord; yeh-VA עַל For al שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ three sheh-loh-SHA פִּשְׁעֵ֣י transgressions peesh-A בְנֵֽי of veh-NAY עַמּ֔וֹן the AH-mone וְעַל children veh-AL אַרְבָּעָ֖ה of ar-ba-AH לֹ֣א Ammon, loh אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ and uh-shee-VEH-noo עַל for al בִּקְעָם֙ four, beek-AM הָר֣וֹת I ha-ROTE הַגִּלְעָ֔ד will ha-ɡeel-AD לְמַ֖עַן not leh-MA-an הַרְחִ֥יב turn hahr-HEEV אֶת away et גְּבוּלָֽם׃ the ɡeh-voo-LAHM -
וְהִצַּ֤תִּי I veh-hee-TSA-tee אֵשׁ֙ will aysh בְּחוֹמַ֣ת kindle beh-hoh-MAHT רַבָּ֔ה a ra-BA וְאָכְלָ֖ה fire veh-oke-LA אַרְמְנוֹתֶ֑יהָ in ar-meh-noh-TAY-ha בִּתְרוּעָה֙ the beet-roo-AH בְּי֣וֹם wall beh-YOME מִלְחָמָ֔ה of meel-ha-MA בְּסַ֖עַר Rabbah, beh-SA-ar בְּי֥וֹם and beh-YOME סוּפָֽה׃ it soo-FA -
וְהָלַ֥ךְ their veh-ha-LAHK מַלְכָּ֖ם king mahl-KAHM בַּגּוֹלָ֑ה shall ba-ɡoh-LA ה֧וּא go hoo וְשָׂרָ֛יו into veh-sa-RAV יַחְדָּ֖ו captivity, yahk-DAHV אָמַ֥ר he ah-MAHR יְהוָֽה׃ and yeh-VA
