શાઉલ અને તેના મૅંણસો ડુંગરની એક બાજુએ હતા. દાઉદ અને તેના મૅંણસો બીજી બાજુએ હતાં. દાઉદ અને તેના મૅંણસો શાઉલથી ઝટપટ ભાગી છૂટવાનો પ્રયત્ન કરતા હતા, અને શાઉલ અને તેના મૅંણસો તેમને આંતરી લઈને પઢડી લેવાની અણી ઉપર હતા.
