“સરૂયાના પુત્ર યોઆબે માંરી સાથે કેવો વર્તાવ રાખ્યો હતો તે તું જાણે છે, તને ખબર નથી કે તેણે ઇસ્રાએલી લશ્કરના બે સેનાપતિ નેરનો પુત્ર આબ્નેર અને યેથેરના પુત્ર અમાંસાને માંરી નાખ્યા હતા? યુદ્ધમાં તે બનેલો બનાવ હતો એવો તેણે દેખાવ કર્યો હતો, પણ હકીકતમાં એ કૃત્ય શાંતિના સમયમાં કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. અને તેની તરવારબંધ અને પગરખાને નિદોર્ષના લોહીથી કલંકિત કર્યા હતાં.
