Ecclesiastes 8:13
સારું જીવન નહિ જીવનારા દુષ્ટ લોકો સાંજના પડછાયાની જેમ તેઓનું જીવન લંબાવી શકતા નથી, કારણ કે તેઓ દેવનો ડર રાખતા નથી.

| shall he prolong | יַאֲרִ֥יךְ | yaʾărîk | ya-uh-REEK |
| days, his | יָמִ֖ים | yāmîm | ya-MEEM |
| which are as a shadow; | כַּצֵּ֑ל | kaṣṣēl | ka-TSALE |
| because | אֲשֶׁ֛ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| he feareth | אֵינֶ֥נּוּ | ʾênennû | ay-NEH-noo |
| not | יָרֵ֖א | yārēʾ | ya-RAY |
| before | מִלִּפְנֵ֥י | millipnê | mee-leef-NAY |
| God. | אֱלֹהִֽים׃ | ʾĕlōhîm | ay-loh-HEEM |
