Deuteronomy 5:23
“પર્વત જયારે અગ્નિથી ભડભડ બળતો હતો, ત્યારે તમે અંધકારમાંથી એ અવાજ સાંભળ્યો, પછી તમાંરા કુળસમૂહોના બધાં આગેવાનો અને વડીલો માંરી પાસે આવ્યાં અને વિનંતી કરી,

| heard ye when | כְּשָׁמְעֲכֶ֤ם | kĕšomʿăkem | keh-shome-uh-HEM |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| voice the | הַקּוֹל֙ | haqqôl | ha-KOLE |
| out of the midst | מִתּ֣וֹךְ | mittôk | MEE-toke |
| of the darkness, | הַחֹ֔שֶׁךְ | haḥōšek | ha-HOH-shek |
| mountain the (for | וְהָהָ֖ר | wĕhāhār | veh-ha-HAHR |
| did burn | בֹּעֵ֣ר | bōʿēr | boh-ARE |
| with fire,) | בָּאֵ֑שׁ | bāʾēš | ba-AYSH |
| near came ye that | וַתִּקְרְב֣וּן | wattiqrĕbûn | va-teek-reh-VOON |
| unto | אֵלַ֔י | ʾēlay | ay-LAI |
| all even me, | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| the heads | רָאשֵׁ֥י | rāʾšê | ra-SHAY |
| of your tribes, | שִׁבְטֵיכֶ֖ם | šibṭêkem | sheev-tay-HEM |
| and your elders; | וְזִקְנֵיכֶֽם׃ | wĕziqnêkem | veh-zeek-nay-HEM |
