Exodus 28:30
અને હંમેશા તેઓ દેવની યાદીમાં રહેશે. ઉરીમ અને તુમ્મીમને ન્યાયકરણના ઉરપત્રમાં મૂકવા. તે હારુન જ્યારે યહોવા સમક્ષ જાય, ત્યારે તેઓ તેની છાતી પર રહે. આ રીતે હારુન હંમેશા ઇસ્રાએલીઓના ન્યાય કરવાનું સાધન પોતાની સાથે રાખશે જ્યારે તે યહોવા સમક્ષ રહેશે ત્યારે.

એ બધી ઘટના ઓ બન્યા પછી, યહોવાનો સેવક, નૂનનો પુત્ર યહોશુઆ મૃત્યુ પામ્યો. તે 110 વર્ષનો હતો.

આ એ પ્રજાઓ છે જેને યહોવાએ ભૂમિમાં છોડી દીધી, તેણે આ મુજબ ઈસ્રાએલના લોકોની પરીક્ષા કરવા કર્યુ જેઓએ કનાનની ભૂમિમાં યુદ્ધોમાં ભાગ લીધો નહોતો.

એલઆઝારનો પુત્ર તથા હારુનનો પૌત્ર ફીનહાસ યાજક હતો. ઈસ્રાએલીઓએ યહોવાને પૂછયું, “અમાંરે ફરીથી જઈને અમાંરા ભાઈઓ સામે બિન્યામીનમાં લડાઈ કરવી કે અમાંરે તેઓ સામે લડવાનું બંધ કરવું?યહોવાએ જવાબ આપ્યો, “જાઓ, કાલે બિન્યામીનને હું તમાંરા હાથમાં સોંપી દઈશ.”

ત્યારે શાઉલના ચાકરો પાસે દોએગ અદોમી ઊભો હતો. તેણે કહ્યું, “હું નોબમાં હતો ત્યારે મેં દાઉદને અહીટૂબના પુત્ર અહીમેલેખ યાજક સાથે વાત કરતાં જોયો હતો.
