Isaiah 15
1 મોઆબ વિષે દેવવાણી. આર-મોઆબ અને કીર રાતોરાત ખેદાનમેદાન થઇ ગયાં અને કીર મોઆબ ઉજ્જડ થયું છે, નષ્ટ થયું છે.
2 દીબોનના લોકો પર્વત પર અને ઉચ્ચસ્થાનકે રડવાને જાય છે. મોઆબના લોકો નબો અને મેદબા પર મોઆબ આક્રંદ કરે છે. બધા જ માણસોએ શોકને લીધે માથું મૂંડાવી નાખ્યું છે, અને દાઢી બોડાવી નાખી છે;
3 બધા જ શોકની કંથા પહેરીને રસ્તા પર ફરે છે. અને છાપરે ચડીને ચોરેચૌટે આક્રંદ અને રોકકળ કરે છે, અને પોક મૂકીને આંસુ સારે છે.
4 વળી હેશ્બોન અને એલઆલેહના લોકો પોકેપોક રડે છે; તેમનો અવાજ યાહાસ સુધી સંભળાય છે; તેથી મોઆબના સશસ્ત્ર યોદ્ધાઓ પણ થથરી જાય છે, તેથી તેનું હૃદય ક્ષોભ પામે છે.
5 મારું હૃદય મોઆબને માટે રૂદન કરે છે! ત્યાંના લોકો સોઆર અને એગ્લાથ-શલીશિયા ભાગી ગયા છે. તેઓ રડતાં રડતાં લૂહીથનો ઘાટ ચઢે છે, હોરોનાયિમને રસ્તે તેઓ હૈયાફાટ રૂદન કરે છે.
6 નિમ્રીમનાં જળાશય અરણ્ય તુલ્ય થાય છે; ઘાસ સુકાઇ ગયું છે. તૃણ સમાપ્ત થઇ ગયું છે. લીલોતરીનું નામોનિશાન નથી.
7 આથી લોકો પોતાની માલમિલ્કત અને જે કઇં સંઘરેલું છે તે લઇને વેલવાળી ખીણની સામે પાર ચાલ્યા જાય છે.
8 કારણ કે સીમની આસપાસ રૂદનનો અવાજ પહોંચી ગયો છે; તેના આક્રંદના પડઘા એગ્લાઇમ અને બએર-એલીમ સુધી સંભળાય છે.
9 દીમોનમાં પાણી લોહી લોહી થઇ ગયા છે, તેમ છતાં દેવ દીમોનને માથે હજી મોટી આફત ઉતારશે; મોઆબના જે થોડા લોકો બચી ગયા છે તેમના પર એક સિંહ ત્રાટકશે.
1 The burden of Moab. Because in the night Ar of Moab is laid waste, and brought to silence; because in the night Kir of Moab is laid waste, and brought to silence;
2 He is gone up to Bajith, and to Dibon, the high places, to weep: Moab shall howl over Nebo, and over Medeba: on all their heads shall be baldness, and every beard cut off.
3 In their streets they shall gird themselves with sackcloth: on the tops of their houses, and in their streets, every one shall howl, weeping abundantly.
4 And Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shall be heard even unto Jahaz: therefore the armed soldiers of Moab shall cry out; his life shall be grievous unto him.
5 My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall flee unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction.
6 For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate: for the hay is withered away, the grass faileth, there is no green thing.
7 Therefore the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have laid up, shall they carry away to the brook of the willows.
8 For the cry is gone round about the borders of Moab; the howling thereof unto Eglaim, and the howling thereof unto Beer-elim.
9 For the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more upon Dimon, lions upon him that escapeth of Moab, and upon the remnant of the land.

My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall flee unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction.
