2 Kings 13 - WEB (Gujarati)

1 In the three and twentieth year of Joash the son of Ahaziah, king of Judah, Jehoahaz the son of Jehu began to reign over Israel in Samaria, [and reigned] seventeen years.જ્યારે યહૂદાના રાજા યોઆશ રાજયકાળના ત્રેવીસમા વર્ષમાં હતો ત્યાંરે યેહૂનો પુત્ર યહોઆહાઝ ઇસ્રાએલનો રાજા બન્યો. તેણે સમરૂનમાં સત્તર વર્ષ રાજ કર્યું.

2 He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin; he didn't depart from it.તેણે યહોવાની દૃષ્ટિએ અયોગ્ય ગણાય એવું આચરણ કર્યુ અને નબાટના પુત્ર યરોબઆમે જે પાપકમોર્ કર્યા હતા તે ચાલુ રાખ્યાં, તેણે તે છોડ્યા નહિ.

3 The anger of Yahweh was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael, continually.તેથી યહોવા ઇસ્રાએલીઓ પર ગુસ્સે થયા. અને તેણે તેમને વષોર્ સુધી અરામના રાજા હઝાએલને અને તેના પુત્ર બેન-હદાદને ગુલામ તરીકે સોંપી દીધાં.

4 Jehoahaz begged Yahweh, and Yahweh listened to him; for he saw the oppression of Israel, how that the king of Syria oppressed them.પરંતુ યહોઆહાઝે યહોવાને પ્રસન્ન કરવા પ્રાર્થના કરી અને યહોવાએ તેની પ્રાર્થના સાંભળી, કારણ અરામના રાજાએ ઇસ્રાએલના લોકોને કેવો ત્રાસ આપ્યો હતો, તે તેણે જોયંુ હતું.

5 (Yahweh gave Israel a savior, so that they went out from under the hand of the Syrians; and the children of Israel lived in their tents as before.યહોવાએ ઇસ્રાએલને એક છોડાવનાર આપ્યો અને તેણે ઇસ્રાએલીઓને અરામના પંજામાંથી મુકત કર્યા અને તેઓ ફરી પોતાનાં ઘરમાં પહેલાંની જેમ સુખશાંતિમાં રહેવા લાગ્યા.

6 Nevertheless they didn't depart from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, with which he made Israel to sin, but walked therein: and there remained the Asherah also in Samaria.)છતાં યરોબઆમે તેમની પાસે જે પાપકમોર્ કરાવ્યાં હતાં તે તેમણે છોડયાં નહિ. સમરૂનમાં અશેરા દેવીની એક પ્રતિમા પણ હતી.

7 For he didn't leave to Jehoahaz of the people save fifty horsemen, and ten chariots, and ten thousand footmen; for the king of Syria destroyed them, and made them like the dust in threshing.યહોઆહાઝ પાસે કોઇ સૈન્ય નહોતું સિવાય કે 50 ઘોડેસવાર, 10 રથ અને 10,000 સૈનિકો કારણ કે અરામના રાજાએ તેના બાકીના સૈન્યનો નાશ કરી નાખ્યો હતો.

8 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoahaz, and all that he did, and his might, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?યહોઆહાઝના શાસનના બીજાં બનાવો અને તેણે કરેલાં કાર્યો ઇસ્રાએલના રાજાઓનાઁ ઇતિહાસ નામક પુસ્તકમાં લખાયેલાઁ છે.

9 Jehoahaz slept with his fathers; and they buried him in Samaria: and Joash his son reigned in his place.પછી યહોઆહાઝ મરી ગયો અને તેને સમરૂનમાં દફનાવવામાં આવ્યો, પછી તેનો પુત્ર યોઆશ ગાદી પર બેઠો.

10 In the thirty-seventh year of Joash king of Judah began Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz to reign over Israel in Samaria, [and reigned] sixteen years.જ્યારે યહૂદાના રાજા યોઆશના શાસનના સાડત્રીસ વર્ષમાં હતો, ત્યારે યહોઆહાઝનો પુત્ર યોઆશ સમરૂનમાં ઇસ્રાએલનો રાજા થયો અને તેણે સોળ વર્ષ રાજ કર્યું,

11 He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh; he didn't depart from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin; but he walked therein.તેણે યહોવાની ષ્ટિએ અયોગ્ય ગણાય તેવું આચરણ કર્યું અને નબાટના પુત્ર યરોબઆમે જે પાપ કમોર્ કર્યા હતાં તે કરવાનું તેણે ચાલું રાખ્યું, તેણે તે વસ્તુઓ છોડી નહિ.

12 Now the rest of the acts of Joash, and all that he did, and his might with which he fought against Amaziah king of Judah, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?રાજાનું શાસન, તેમાં બનેલા અને તેણે કરેલાં મહાન કાર્યો તેણે યહૂદાના અમાસ્યા સામે લડેલી લડાઇ સહિત, બધું ઇસ્રાએલના રાજાઓનાઁ ઇતિહાસ નામક પુસ્તકમાં લખાયેલું છે.

13 Joash slept with his fathers; and Jeroboam sat on his throne: and Joash was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.અને, યોઆશ મરી ગયો અને તેને સમરૂનમાં ઇસ્રાએલના બધા રાજાઓ ભેગો દફનાવવામાં આવ્યો પછી, તેની જગ્યાએ, યરોબઆમ રાજા બન્યો.

14 Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness of which he died: and Joash the king of Israel came down to him, and wept over him, and said, My father, my father, the chariots of Israel and the horsemen of it!જયારે એલિશા ભયંકર માંદગીમાં પથારીવશ થઈ ગયો ત્યારે ઇસ્રાએલનો રાજા યોઆશ તેની પાસે જઈને રડવા લાગ્યો અને બોલ્યો, હે મારા પિતા! મારા પિતા! તમે તો ઇસ્રાએલના રથ અને ઘોડેસવાર છો!”

15 Elisha said to him, Take bow and arrows; and he took to him bow and arrows.એલિશાએ કહ્યું, “ધનુષબાણ લઈ આવ.”અને તેણે ધનુષબાણ મંગાવ્યાં.

16 He said to the king of Israel, Put your hand on the bow; and he put his hand [on it]. Elisha laid his hands on the king's hands.પછી એલિશાએ રાજાને કહ્યું, “ધનુષ્ય પર બાણ ચડાવ.” અને તેણે ચડાવ્યું, એલિશાએ પોતાના હાથ તેના હાથ પર મૂકયા અને કહ્યું,

17 He said, Open the window eastward; and he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot; and he shot. He said, Yahweh's arrow of victory, even the arrow of victory over Syria; for you shall strike the Syrians in Aphek, until you have consumed them.“પૂર્વ તરફની બારી ઉઘાડી નાખ.” અને યોઆશે તેમ કર્યુ, પછી એલિશાએ કહ્યું,”બાણ છોડ.” અને તેણે છોડયું,એટલે એલિશા બોલ્યો, “એ અરામ પરના યહોવાના વિજયનું બાણ હતું. તું અરામને એફક પાસે પૂરેપૂરી હાર આપીશ!”

18 He said, Take the arrows; and he took them. He said to the king of Israel, Smite on the ground; and he struck thrice, and stayed.“હવે બીજા બાણ ઉપાડી લે.” એલિશાએ કહ્યું, રાજાએ બાણ ઉપાડી લીધાં એટલે એલિશાએ કહ્યું, “જમીન પર પછાડ.” રાજાએ ત્રણ વાર પછાડયાં અને પછી તે અટકી ગયો.

19 The man of God was angry with him, and said, You should have struck five or six times: then had you struck Syria until you had consumed it, whereas now you shall strike Syria but thrice.તેથી દેવના માણસ એલિશા તેના પર ગુસ્સે થયા અને રાજાને કહ્યું, “તારે જમીનમાં પાંચ કે છ બાણ મારવા જોઈતા હતાં. જો એમ કર્યું હોત તો અરામીઓનો સંપૂર્ણ નાશ થઈ જાય ત્યાં સુધી તેં તેઓને પરાજય આપ્યો હોત, હવે તું અરામને ફકત ત્રણ જ વાર હરાવી શકીશ.”

20 Elisha died, and they buried him. Now the bands of the Moabites invaded the land at the coming in of the year.ત્યારબાદ એલિશાનું મૃત્યુ થયું અને તેને દફનાવવામાં આવ્યો. વરસોવરસ મોઆબી દરોડાખોરોની ટોળીઓ દેશ પર આક્રમણ કરતી હતી.

21 It happened, as they were burying a man, that behold, they spied a band; and they cast the man into the tomb of Elisha: and as soon as the man touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.એક વખત થોડાં લોકો (ઇસ્રાએલીઓ) એક માણસને દફનાવતા હતા. જેવા ઇસ્રાએલીઓએ મોઆબી સૈનિકોને જોયા, લોકો મૃતદેહને એલિશાની કબરની અંદર ફેંકી દઈને ભાગી ગયા. જેવો મૃતદેહ એલિશાનાં હાડકાંને અડ્યો કે મૃત માણસ જીવતો થઈ ગયો અને ઊઠીને ઊભો થઈ ગયો.

22 Hazael king of Syria oppressed Israel all the days of Jehoahaz.યહોઆહાઝના સમગ્ર રાજયશાસન દરમ્યાન અરામના રાજા હઝાએલે ઇસ્રાએલીઓ પર ત્રાસ ગુજાર્યો હતો.

23 But Yahweh was gracious to them, and had compassion on them, and had respect to them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, neither cast he them from his presence as yet.પણ યહોવાએ કૃપા કરીને તેમની દયા ખાધી. ઇબ્રાહિમ, ઇસહાક અને યાકૂબ સાથે કરેલા કરારને કારણે તેની તેમના પ્રત્યે કૃપાદૃષ્ટિ હતી અને તેમનો નાશ કરવાની તેની ઇચ્છા નહોતી, તેમ અત્યાર સુધી તેણે તેમને પોતાની નજરથી દૂર પણ કર્યા નથી.”

24 Hazael king of Syria died; and Benhadad his son reigned in his place.અરામનો રાજા હઝાએલ મૃત્યુ પામ્યો અને તેનો પુત્ર બેનહદાદ તેની ગાદીએ આવ્યો.

25 Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz took again out of the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael the cities which he had taken out of the hand of Jehoahaz his father by war. Three times did Joash strike him, and recovered the cities of Israel.ત્યાર પછી યોઆશે તેમને ત્રણ વખત પરાજય આપ્યો, અને જે શહેરો હઝાએલના પિતા બેનહદાદે તેના પિતા યહોઆહાઝ પાસેથી લઇ લીધાં હતાં તે પાછાં કબજે કર્યાં.
