2 Chronicles 2 - YLT (Gujarati)

1 And Solomon saith to build a house for the name of Jehovah, and a house for his kingdom,સુલેમાને યહોવાને માટે એક મંદિર અને પોતાને માટે એક રાજમહેલ બાંધવાનો નિર્ધાર કર્યો.

2 and Solomon numbereth seventy thousand men bearing burden, and eighty thousand men hewing in the mountain, and overseers over them -- three thousand and six hundred.તેણે 70,000 લોકોને હમાલ તરીકે સામાન ઊંચકવા માટે, 80,000 માણસોને પર્વતોમાં પથ્થરો કાપવા માટે તથા 3,600 લોકોને તેઓના ઉપર દેખરેખ રાખવા મુકાદમો તરીકે રાખ્યા.

3 And Solomon sendeth unto Huram king of Tyre, saying, `When thou hast dealt with David my father, then thou dost send to him cedars to build for him a house to dwell in;ત્યારબાદ સુલેમાને તૂરના રાજા હૂરામને સંદેશો મકલ્યો કે, “તમે મારા પિતા દાઉદને રાજમહેલ બાંધવા માટે સુખડનું લાકડું મોકલ્યું હતું.

4 lo, I am building a house to the name of Jehovah my God, to sanctify `it' to Him, to make perfume before Him, perfume of spices, and a continual arrangement, and burnt-offerings at morning and at evening, at sabbaths, and at new moons, and at appointed seasons of Jehovah our God; to the age this `is' on Israel.અત્યારે હું મારા દેવ યહોવા માટે મંદિર બાંધવા માંગુ છું, જ્યાં તેની સમક્ષ નિત્ય ધૂપ થાય, નિત્ય એની સામે રોટલી અપિર્ત થતી રહે, વિશ્રામવારોએ, અમાસને દિવસે અને અમારા દેવ યહોવા દ્વારા ઠરાવાયેલા બીજા ઉત્સવોને દિવસે સવારેને સાંજે દહનાર્પણ અપાય, કારણકે ઇસ્રાએલને માથે એ કાયમી ફરજ છે.

5 `And the house that I am building `is' great, for greater `is' our God than all gods;“હું જે મંદિર બાંધવાનો છું તે ઘણું મોટું થવાનું છે, કારણ, અમારો દેવ સર્વ દેવો કરતઁા મોટો છે.

6 and who doth retain strength to build to Him a house, for the heavens, even the heavens of the heavens, do not contain Him? and who `am' I that I do build to Him a house, except to make perfume before Him?પરંતુ તેમને માટે યોગ્ય નિવાસસ્થાન કોણ બાંધી શકે? અપાર ઊંચામાં ઊંચું આકાશ પણ તેને સમાવી શકતું નથી. તો પછી હું કોણ કે તેને માટે મંદિર બાંધું? એ તો માત્ર તેની સમક્ષ ધૂપ કરીને તેમનું ભજન કરવાનું સ્થાન જ બનશે.

7 `And now, send to me a wise man to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and knowing to grave gravings with the wise men who `are' with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father prepared;“તેથી સોના ચાંદીનું, અને પિત્તળ તથા લોખંડનું કામ કરનારા કુશળ કારીગરો; તથા કિરમજી, લાલ અને આસમાની રંગના કાપડ નું શું કરવું એ જાણનાર લોકોને મારી પાસે મોકલી આપો. વળી મારા પિતા દાઉદે પસંદ કરેલા યહૂદિયા અને યરૂશાલેમના કારીગરો સાથે કામ કરી શકે તેવા કોતરણી કામના નિષ્ણંાત કારીગરોને મોકલી આપો.

8 and send to me cedar-trees, firs, and algums from Lebanon, for I have known that thy servants know to cut down trees of Lebanon, and lo, my servants `are' with thy servants,વળી, મને દેવદારનું, પાઇનના વૃક્ષનું અને ઓલ્ગમંના વૃક્ષનું લાકડું પણ મોકલાવશો, કારણ, મને ખબર છે કે તમારા માણસો દેવદારમાં વૃક્ષો પાડવામાં પાવરધાં છે. મારા માણસો તમારા માણસો સાથે કામ કરશે.

9 even to prepare for me trees in abundance, for the house that I am building `is' great and wonderful.તેઓને સહાય કરવા માટે હું મારા માણસો મોકલી આપીશ. હું જે મંદિર બાંધુ છું તે માટે પુષ્કળ પ્રમાણમાં ઇમારતી લાકડું જોઇશે કારણકે તે મંદિર બહુ જ મોટું અને અતિ ભવ્ય બનશે.

10 `And lo, to hewers, to those cutting the trees, I have given beaten wheat to thy servants, cors twenty thousand, and barley, cors twenty thousand, and wine, baths twenty thousand, and oil, baths twenty thousand.'તમારા વૃક્ષો પાડનારા માણસો માટે હું 1,25,000 બુશેલ ઘઉં, 1,25,000 બુશેલ જવ, 1,15,000 ગેલન દ્રાક્ષારસ અને 1,15,000 ગેલન તેલ મોકલીશ.”

11 And Huram king of Tyre saith in writing, and sendeth unto Solomon: `In the love of Jehovah to His people He hath given thee king over them.'તૂરના રાજા હૂરામે રાજા સુલેમાનને પત્ર દ્વારા નીચેનો જવાબ મોકલ્યો, “યહોવાને તેના લોકો માટે પ્રેમ છે માટે તેણે આપને તેમના રાજા બનાવ્યા છે.”

12 And Huram saith, `Blessed `is' Jehovah, God of Israel, who made the heavens and the earth, who hath given to David the king a wise son, knowing wisdom and understanding, who doth build a house for Jehovah, and a house for his kingdom.હૂરામે વધુમાં લખ્યું છે, “ઇસ્રાએલના દેવ યહોવાનો જય હો! તેણે આકાશ અને પૃથ્વી બનાવ્યાં છે, અને રાજા દાઉદને જ્ઞાની, બુદ્ધિશાળી અને સમજુ પુત્ર આપ્યો છે, જે યહોવાને માટે મંદિર અને પોતાને માટે રાજમહેલ બંધાવનાર છે.

13 `And now, I have sent a wise man having understanding, of Huram my father,હું તમારી પાસે મારા પ્રખ્યાત અને નિપુણ કારીગર હૂરામ-અલીને મોકલું છું. તે ઘણો હોંશિયાર છે.

14 (son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father a man of Tyre), knowing to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, in stones, and in wood, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson, and to grave any graving, and to devise any device that is given to him, with thy wise men, and the wise men of my lord David thy father.એનાં માતા દાનવંશના અને પિતા તૂરના છે. એ સોના-ચાંદીનું, કાંસાનું અને લોઢાનું પથ્થરનું અને લાકડાનું તેમજ જાંબુડીયા, કિરમજી અને ભૂરા રંગના કિંમતી કાપડનું કામ કરવામાં કુશળ છે. વળી, એ બધી જાતનું કોતરકામ કરવામાં પણ હોશિયાર છે. એને સોંપેલી કોઇ પણ ભાત એ કોતરી શકે છે. એ મારા ધણી અને આપના પિતા દાઉદના કારીગરો અને આપના કારીગરો સાથે કામ કરી શકે તેમ છે.

15 `And, now, the wheat, and the barley, the oil, and the wine, as my lord said, let him send to his servants,“તેથી તમારા જણાવ્યા મુજબ ઘઉં, જવ, તેલ અને દ્રાક્ષારસ મોકલી આપો.

16 and we -- we cut trees out of Lebanon, according to all thy need, and bring them in to thee -- floats by sea, to Joppa, and thou dost take them up to Jerusalem.'અમે લબાનોનમાંથી આપને જોઇતાં બધાં લાકડાં કાપીશું, અને દરિયાઇ માગેર્ યાફા સુધી પહોંચાડીશું. ત્યાંથી તેને યરૂશાલેમ પહોંચાડવાની જવાબદારી તમારી રહેશે.”

17 And Solomon numbereth all the men, the sojourners who `are' in the land of Israel, after the numbering with which David his father numbered them, and they are found a hundred and fifty thousand, and three thousand, and six hundred;સુલેમાને પોતાના પિતા દાઉદે કરાવેલી વસ્તી ગણતરીની જેમ ઇસ્રાએલમાં વસતા બધા વિદેશીઓની વસ્તી ગણતરી કરાવી તો તેમની સંખ્યા 1,53,000 અને છસો જેટલી થઇ.

18 and he maketh of them seventy thousand burden-bearers, and eighty thousand hewers in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred overseers, to cause the people to work.તેણે તેઓમાંના 70,000ને મજૂરો તરીકે, 80,000ને પથ્થરોની ખાણોમાં કામ કરવા અને 36,000ને છસોને આ લોકો પાસે કામ કરાવવા મુકાદમ તરીકે નીમ્યા.
