દાઉદે કહ્યું, “દરેક જણ તરવાર બાંધી લે!” બધાએ તરવાર બાંધી લીધી. દાઉદે પણ તરવાર બાંધી લીધી, અને 400 માંણસો તેની સાથે ગયા અને સામાંન સાચવવા માંટે 200 માંણસો પાછળ રહ્યા.
