1 Samuel 12:3
હવે હું તમાંરી સમક્ષ ઊભો છું. જો મે કઇ ખોટુ કર્યું હોય તો તમાંરે યહોવાને અને એના અભિષિકત રાજાને કહેવું. મે કોઇનો બળદ અથવા ગાધેડો લધો છે? મે કોઇને ઇજા પહોચાડી છે અથવા કોઇને વિશ્વાસઘાત કર્યોં છે? જો મે ઉપરની બાબતોમાંથી કઇ કર્યું હોય તો હું તેને ઠીક કરીશ. મે આંખો બૈંધ કરીને લાંચ લધી છે જેથી માંરા ગુન્હાની ઉપેક્ષા થાઓ?”
