1 Peter 3:1
તે જ રીતે પત્નીઓએ પતિઓની સત્તાને સ્વીકારવી જોઈએ. તેથી જો તમારામાંના કેટલાએક પતિઓ દેવની સુવાર્તાને અનુસરવા ના પાડે, તો તેઓને અનુસરવા સમજાવી શકાય. તમારે કંઈજ કહેવાની જરુંર નથી. તેઓ પોતાની સ્ત્રીઓના આચરણથી સમજી શકશે.
