1 Kings 22:35
દિવસ ચડતો ગયો તેમ તેમ યુદ્ધ વધુને વધુ ભીષણ બનતું ગયું અને રાજા તેના રથમાં અરામીઓ તરફ મોં કરીને ઢળેલો પડ્યો હતો, તેના ઘામાંથી લોહી વહીને રથમાં ભેગું થતું હતું, સાંજ થતાં તેણે દેહ છોડયો.

| in his chariot | בַּמֶּרְכָּבָ֖ה | bammerkābâ | ba-mer-ka-VA |
| against | נֹ֣כַח | nōkaḥ | NOH-hahk |
| the Syrians, | אֲרָ֑ם | ʾărām | uh-RAHM |
| died and | וַיָּ֣מָת | wayyāmot | va-YA-mote |
| at even: | בָּעֶ֔רֶב | bāʿereb | ba-EH-rev |
| and the blood | וַיִּ֥צֶק | wayyiṣeq | va-YEE-tsek |
| ran out | דַּֽם | dam | dahm |
| wound the of | הַמַּכָּ֖ה | hammakkâ | ha-ma-KA |
| into | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| the midst | חֵ֥יק | ḥêq | hake |
