બન્ને, એલઆઝારના વંશજો અને ઈથામારના વંશજોમાં પ્રખ્યાત માણસો મંદિરના અધિકારીઓ હતા. તેથી ચિઠ્ઠીઓ નાખીને જુદા જુદા જૂથોને તેમની ફરજો સોંપવામાં આવી હતી.
