ત્યારે શમુએલે શાઉલને કહ્યું , “તે ગાંડપણ કર્યું છે, તને તારા દેવ યહોવાએ જે આજ્ઞા આપી હતી તેનું તેઁ પાલન નથી કર્યુ. તેં જો તેમ કર્યું હોત તો યહોવાએ ઇસ્રાએલ ઉપર તારી અને તારા વંશની રાજસત્તા કાયમ માંટે સ્થાપી હોત.
