அப்பொழுது அதிபதி வெளிவாசல் மண்டபத்தின் வழியாய் பிரவேசித்து, வாசல் நிலையண்டையிலே நிற்கக்கடவன்; ஆசாரியர்களோ அவனுடைய தகனபலியையும், அவனுடைய சமாதான பலிகளையும் படைக்கக்கடவர்கள்; அவன் வாசற்படியிலே ஆராதனை செய்து, பின்பு புறப்படுவானாக; அந்த வாசல் சாயங்காலமட்டும் பூட்டப்படாதிருப்பதாக.

தலைவன் வெளியிலிருந்து நுழைவாயிலின் முகமண்டபம் வழியாய் உள்நுழைந்து வாயில் நிலையருகே நிற்க வேண்டும். அவனுடைய எரிபலிகளையும் நல்லுறவுப் பலிகளையும் குருக்கள் நிறைவேற்ற வேண்டும். அவன் வாயிற்படியருகே நின்று வழிபாடு செய்துவிட்டுப் போகவேண்டும். ஆனால் வாயிலோ மாலைவரை மூடப்படாதிருக்க வேண்டும்.

Appoluthu athipathi velivaasal manndapaththin valiyaay piravaesiththu, vaasal nilaiyanntaiyilae nirkakkadavan; aasaariyarkalo avanutaiya thakanapaliyaiyum, avanutaiya samaathaana palikalaiyum pataikkakkadavarkal; avan vaasarpatiyilae aaraathanai seythu, pinpu purappaduvaanaaka; antha vaasal saayangaalamattum poottappadaathiruppathaaka.
