அவர்களுடைய தலைகளில் சணல்நூல் குல்லாக்களையும், அவர்களுடைய இடைகளில் சணல்நூல் சல்லடங்களையும் தரிக்கவேண்டும்; வேர்வையுண்டாக்கத்தக்கதொன்றையும் அரையில் கட்டலாகாது.

கர்த்தர் தேசத்தின்மேல் மழையைக் கட்டளையிடும் நாள்வரையும் பானையில் இருந்த மாவு தீர்ந்துபோவதும் இல்லை; கலசத்தின் எண்ணெய் குறைந்துபோவதும் இல்லை என்று இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றான்.

இஸ்ரவேலரின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர், ‘அந்த ஜாடியில் உள்ள மாவு காலியாகாது கலயத்திலும் எண்ணெய் குறையாது என்று கூறியுள்ளார். இது கர்த்தர் மழையைக் கொண்டு வரும்வரை நிகழும்’ என்கிறார்” என்றான்.
