ராஜாவுக்குச் சித்தமாயிருந்து அவர் சமுகத்தில் எனக்குக் கிருபைகிடைத்து, ராஜசமுகத்தில் நான் சொல்லும் வார்த்தை சரியென்று காணப்பட்டு, அவருடைய கண்களுக்கு நான் பிரியமாயிருந்தால், ராஜாவின் நாடுகளிலெல்லாம் இருக்கிற யூதரை அழிக்கவேண்டும் என்று அம்மெதாத்தாவின் குமாரனாகிய ஆமான் என்னும் ஆகாகியன் தீவினையாய் எழுதினகட்டளைகள் செல்லாமற்போகப்பண்ணும்படி எழுதி அனுப்பப்படவேண்டும்.

ராஜாவிற்கு விருப்பமாயிருந்து அவர் சமுகத்தில் எனக்குக் கிருபை கிடைத்து, ராஜாவிற்கு முன்பாக நான் சொல்லும் வார்த்தை சரியென்று காணப்பட்டு, அவருடைய கண்களுக்கு நான் பிரியமாக இருந்தால், ராஜாவின் நாடுகளிலெல்லாம் இருக்கிற யூதர்களை அழிக்கவேண்டும் என்று அம்மெதாத்தாவின் மகனாகிய ஆமான் என்னும் ஆகாகியன் தீய எண்ணத்தோடு எழுதின கட்டளைகள் செல்லாமல் போகச்செய்யும்படி எழுதி அனுப்பப்படவேண்டும்.

பிறகு எஸ்தர், “அரசே, நீர் என்னை விரும்புவதானால், உமக்கும் மகிழ்ச்சியானால் எனக்காக இதனைச் செய்யும். இது நல்ல யோசனை என்று நீர் நினைத்தால் இதனைச் செய்யும். அரசன் என்னோடு சந்தோஷமாக இருக்கிறதானால், ஆமான் அனுப்பிய கட்டளையை விலக்கும்படி ஒரு கட்டளை எழுதி அனுப்பும். அரசனின் அனைத்து நாடுகளிலும் உள்ள யூதர்களை அழித்துவிட வேண்டுமென்று ஆகாகியானான ஆமான் ஒரு திட்டம் வைத்து அதை நடத்திட கட்டளை அனுப்பினான்.
