That which was torn of beasts I brought not unto you; I bare the loss of it; of my hand did you require it, whether stolen by day, or stolen by night.

காட்டு மிருகங்களால் ஏதாவது ஆடுகள் அடிபட்டு மரித்திருக்குமானால் அதற்குரிய விலையை நானே தந்திருக்கிறேன். மரித்த ஆடுகளைக்கொண்டு வந்து உமக்கு முன் காட்டி இதற்குக் காரணம் நானில்லை என்று சொன்னதில்லை. ஆனால் நானோ பகலிலும் இரவிலும் திருடப்பட்டேன்.
