உன் கண்கள் கண்ட காரியங்களை நீ மறவாதபடிக்கும், உன் ஜீவனுள்ள நாளெல்லாம் அவைகள் உன் இருதயத்தை விட்டு நீங்காதபடிக்கும் நீ எச்சரிக்கையாயிருந்து, உன் ஆத்துமாவைச் ஜாக்கிரதையாய்க் காத்துக்கொள்; அவைகளை உன் பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் உன் பிள்ளைகளின் பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் அறிவிக்கக்கடவாய்.

உன் கண்கள் கண்ட காரியங்களை நீ மறக்காமலிருக்கவும், நீ உயிரோடிருக்கிற நாட்களெல்லாம் அவைகள் உன் இருதயத்தைவிட்டு நீங்காமலிருக்கவும் நீ எச்சரிக்கையாயிருந்து, உன் ஆத்துமாவை கவனமாகக் காத்துக்கொள்; அவைகளை உன் பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் உன் பிள்ளைகளின் பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் அறிவிப்பாயாக.

ஓரேப் மலையில் நீங்கள் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு முன்னால் நின்றதை நினைத்துப்பாருங்கள். கர்த்தர் என்னிடம், ‘நான் சொல்வதைக் கேட்க ஜனங்களை ஒன்று கூட்டு. பின்னர் அவர்கள் வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் எனக்குப் பயந்து மதிப்பளிக்க கற்பார்கள். மேலும் இவற்றை அவர்கள் தமது குழந்தைகளுக்குக் கற்பிப்பார்கள்’என்று கூறினார்.
