days,	יוֹמִ֣ין	yôm	yome
thirty	תְּלָתִ֗ין	tĕlātîn	teh-la-TEEN
save	לָהֵן֙	lāhēn	la-HANE
of thee,	מִנָּ֣ךְ	min	meen
O king,	מַלְכָּ֔א	melek	meh-LEK
shall be cast	יִתְרְמֵ֕א	rĕmâ	reh-MA
into the den	לְג֖וֹב	gōb	ɡove
of lions?	אַרְיָותָ֑א	ʾaryē	ar-YAY
answered	עָנֵ֨ה	ʿănâ	uh-NA

true,	יַצִּיבָ֧א	yaṣṣîb	ya-TSEEV
The thing	מִלְּתָ֛א	millâ	mee-LA
according to the law	כְּדָת	dāt	daht
of the Medes	מָדַ֥י	māday	ma-DAI
and Persians,	וּפָרַ֖ס	pāras	pa-RAHS
which	דִּי	dî	dee
not.	לָ֥א	lāʾ	la
altereth	תֶעְדֵּֽא׃	ʿădāʾ	uh-DA
