பின்பு வனாந்தரவழியாய் நடந்து ஏதோம் தேசத்தையும் மோவாப் தேசத்தையும் சுற்றிப்போய், மோவாபின் தேசத்திற்குக் கிழக்கே வந்து, மோவாபின் எல்லைக்குள் பிரவேசியாமல், மோவாபின் எல்லையான அர்னோன் நதிக்கு அப்பாலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்.

பின்பு இஸ்ரவேலர் பாலைவனத்தின் வழியாக ஏதோம், மோவாப் தேசங்களின் எல்லை ஓரமாகவே கடந்துச் சென்றனர். மோவாபின் கிழக்கே இஸ்ரவேலர் பயணம் செய்தனர். அர்னோன் நதியின் மறுபுறம் அவர்கள் முகாமிட்டுத் தங்கினார்கள். மோவாப் தேசத்தில் எல்லையையும் அவர்கள் தாண்டிச் செல்லவில்லை. (அர்னோன் நதியே மோவாபின் எல்லையாக இருந்தது.)
