கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்கு முன்பாகப் பெரியவைகளும் பலத்தவைகளுமான ஜாதிகளைத் துரத்தியிருக்கிறார்; இந்நாள்மட்டும் ஒருவரும் உங்களுக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கவில்லை.

For the LORD hath driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no man hath been able to stand before you unto this day.

For the Lord יְהוָה֙ yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
from before מִפְּנֵיכֶ֔ם pānîm pa-NEEM
nations גּוֹיִ֖ם gôy ɡoy
you great גְּדֹלִ֣ים gādôl ɡa-DOLE
and strong: וַֽעֲצוּמִ֑ים ʿāṣûm ah-TSOOM
but you, וְאַתֶּ֗ם ʾattâ ah-TA
no לֹא lōʾ loh
hath been able to stand עָ֤מַד ʿāmad ah-MAHD
man אִישׁ֙ ʾîš eesh
before בִּפְנֵיכֶ֔ם pānîm pa-NEEM
you unto עַ֖ד ʿad ad
day. הַיּ֥וֹם yôm yome
