இதோ, நான் வடதிசை ராஜ்யங்களின் வம்சங்களையெல்லாம் கூப்பிடுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; அவர்கள் வந்து அவனவன் தன் தன் சிங்காசனத்தை எருசலேமின் ஒலிமுகவாசல்களுக்கும், அதின் சுற்றுமதில்கள் எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் விரோதமாகவும், யூதா தேசத்து எல்லா பட்டணங்களுக்கும் விரோதமாகவும் வைப்பார்கள்.

மிகக் குறுகிய காலத்தில் நான், வடநாட்டு அரசுகளில் உள்ள அனைத்து ஜனங்களையும் அழைப்பேன்” என்றார். இவற்றையெல்லாம் கர்த்தர் சொன்னார். “அந்நாடுகளில் உள்ள அரசர்கள் வந்து எருசலேமின் வாசலருகில் தங்கள் சிங்காசனங்களை போடுவார்கள், அவர்கள் எருசலேமின் நகரச் சுவர்களைத் தாக்குவார்கள், மற்றும் அவர்கள் யூதாவிலுள்ள அனைத்து நகரங்களையும் தாக்குவார்கள்.
