சுத்தமுள்ளவர்களுக்குச் சகலமும் சுத்தமாயிருக்கும்; அசுத்தமுள்ளவர்களுக்கும் அவிசுவாசமுள்ளவர்களுக்கும் ஒன்றும் சுத்தமாயிராது; அவர்களுடைய புத்தியும் மனச்சாட்சியும் அசுத்தமாயிருக்கும்.

தூய்மையானவர்களுக்கு அனைத்தும் தூய்மையாக இருக்கும். பாவம் நிறைந்தவர்களுக்கும், நம்பிக்கை அற்றவர்களுக்கும் எதுவும் தூய்மையாக இராது. உண்மையில் அவர்களின் எண்ணங்கள் பாவம் உடையதாகும். அவர்களின் மனசாட்சி அழிக்கப்பட்டது.
