1 வேவுகாரர் காண்பித்த வழியாக இஸ்ரவேலர் வருகிறார்கள் என்று தெற்கே வாசம்பண்ணுகிற கானானியனாகிய ஆராத் ராஜா கேள்விப்பட்டபோது, அவன் இஸ்ரவேலருக்கு விரோதமாக யுத்தம் பண்ணி, அவர்களில் சிலரை சிறைபிடித்துக்கொண்டுபோனான். And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners.

2 அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலர் கர்த்தரை நோக்கி: தேவரீர் இந்த ஜனங்களை எங்கள் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தால், அவர்களுடைய பட்டணங்களைச் சங்காரம் பண்ணுவோம் என்று பிரதிக்கினை பண்ணினார்கள். And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.

3 கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலின் சத்தத்துக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, அவர்களுக்குக் கானானியரை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்; அப்பொழுது அவர்களையும் அவர்கள் பட்டணங்களையும் சங்காரம்பண்ணி, அவ்விடத்திற்கு ஓர்மா என்று பேரிட்டார்கள். And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah.

4 அவர்கள் ஏதோம் தேசத்தைச் சுற்றிப்போகும்படிக்கு, ஓர் என்னும் மலையைவிட்டு, சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்தின் வழியாய்ப் பிரயாணம்பண்ணினார்கள்; வழியினிமித்தம் ஜனங்கள் மனமடிவடைந்தார்கள். And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way.

5 ஜனங்கள் தேவனுக்கும் மோசேக்கும் விரோதமாகப் பேசி: நாங்கள் வனாந்தரத்திலே சாகும்படி நீங்கள் எங்களை எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து வரப்பண்ணினதென்ன? இங்கே அப்பமும் இல்லை, தண்ணீரும் இல்லை; இந்த அற்பமான உணவு எங்கள் மனதுக்கு வெறுப்பாயிருக்கிறது என்றார்கள். And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.

6 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் கொள்ளிவாய்ச்சர்ப்பங்களை ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே அனுப்பினார்; அவைகள் ஜனங்களைக் கடித்ததினால் இஸ்ரவேலருக்குள்ளே அநேக ஜனங்கள் செத்தார்கள். And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

7 அதினால் ஜனங்கள் மோசேயினிடத்தில் போய்: நாங்கள் கர்த்தருக்கும் உமக்கும் விரோதமாய்ப் பேசினதினால் பாவஞ்செய்தோம்; சர்ப்பங்கள் எங்களைவிட்டு நீங்கும்படி கர்த்தரை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம் பண்ணவேண்டும் என்றார்கள்; மோசே ஜனங்களுக்காக விண்ணப்பம் பண்ணினான். Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

8 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீ ஒரு கொள்ளிவாய்ச் சர்ப்பத்தின் உருவத்தைச் செய்து, அதை ஒரு கம்பத்தின்மேல் தூக்கிவை; கடிக்கப்பட்டவன் எவனோ அவன் அதை நோக்கிப்பார்த்தால் பிழைப்பான் என்றார். And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

9 அப்படியே மோசே ஒரு வெண்கலச் சர்ப்பத்தை உண்டாக்கி, அதை ஒரு கம்பத்தின்மேல் தூக்கிவைத்தான்; சர்ப்பம் ஒருவனைக் கடித்தபோது, அவன் அந்த வெண்கலச் சர்ப்பத்தை நோக்கிப்பார்த்துப் பிழைப்பான். And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

10 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் பிரயாணப்பட்டுப்போய், ஓபோத்தில் பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள். And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in Oboth.

11 ஓபோத்திலிருந்து பிரயாணம் பண்ணி, சூரியோதயத்திற்கு நேராய் மோவாபுக்கு எதிரான வனாந்தரத்திலுள்ள அபாரீமின் மேடுகளில் பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள். And they journeyed from Oboth, and pitched at Ijeabarim, in the wilderness which is before Moab, toward the sunrising.

12 அங்கேயிருந்து பிரயாணப்பட்டுப் போய், சாரேத் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள். From thence they removed, and pitched in the valley of Zared.

13 அங்கேயிருந்து பிரயாணப்பட்டுப் போய், எமோரியரின் எல்லையிலிருந்து வருகிறதும் வனாந்தரத்தில் ஓடுகிறதுமான அர்னோன் ஆற்றுக்கு இப்புறம் பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்; அந்த அர்னோன் மோவாபுக்கும் எமோரியருக்கும் நடுவே இருக்கிற மோவாபின் எல்லை. From thence they removed, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, which is in the wilderness that cometh out of the coasts of the Amorites: for Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.

14 அதினால் சூப்பாவிலுள்ள வாகேபும், அர்னோனின் ஆற்றுக்கால்களும், Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the LORD, What he did in the Red sea, and in the brooks of Arnon,

15 ஆர் என்னும் ஸ்தலத்துக்குப் பாயும் நீரோடையும் மோவாபின் எல்லையைச் சார்ந்திருக்கிறது என்னும் வசனம் கர்த்தருடைய யுத்த புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறது. And at the stream of the brooks that goeth down to the dwelling of Ar, and lieth upon the border of Moab.

16 அங்கேயிருந்து பேயேருக்குப் போனார்கள்; ஜனங்களைக் கூடிவரச்செய், அவர்களுக்குத் தண்ணீர் கொடுப்பேன் என்று கர்த்தர் மோசேக்குச் சொன்ன ஊற்று இருக்கிற இடம் அதுதான். And from thence they went to Beer: that is the well whereof the LORD spake unto Moses, Gather the people together, and I will give them water.

17 அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலர் பாடின பாட்டாவது: ஊற்றுத் தண்ணீரே, பொங்கிவா; அதைக்குறித்துப் பாடுவோம் வாருங்கள். Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it:

18 நியாயப்பிரமாணிக்கனின் ஏவுதலால் அதிபதிகள் கிணற்றைத் தோண்டினார்கள்; ஜனத்தில் மேன்மக்கள் தங்கள் தண்டாயுதங்களைக்கொண்டு தோண்டினார்கள் என்று பாடினார்கள். The princes digged the well, the nobles of the people digged it, by the direction of the lawgiver, with their staves. And from the wilderness they went to Mattanah:

19 அந்த வனாந்தரத்திலிருந்து மாத்தனாவுக்கும், மாத்தனாவிலிருந்து நகாலியேலுக்கும், நகாலியேலிலிருந்து பாமோத்துக்கும், And from Mattanah to Nahaliel: and from Nahaliel to Bamoth:

20 பள்ளத்தாக்கிலுள்ள மோவாபின் வெளியில் இருக்கிற பாமோத்திலிருந்து எஷிமோனை நோக்கும் பிஸ்காவின் உச்சிக்கும் போனார்கள். And from Bamoth in the valley, that is in the country of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looketh toward Jeshimon.

21 அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலர் எமோரியரின் ராஜாவாகிய சீகோனிடத்தில் ஸ்தானாபதிகளை அனுப்பி: And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,

22 உமது தேசத்தின் வழியாய்க் கடந்துபோகும்படி உத்தரவு கொடுக்க வேண்டும்; நாங்கள் வயல்களிலும், திராட்சத்தோட்டங்களிலும் போகாமலும், துரவுகளின் தண்ணீரைக் குடியாமலும், உமது எல்லையைக் கடந்துபோகுமட்டும் ராஜபாதையில் நடந்துபோவோம் என்று சொல்லச்சொன்னார்கள். Let me pass through thy land: we will not turn into the fields, or into the vineyards; we will not drink of the waters of the well: but we will go along by the king's high way, until we be past thy borders.

23 சீகோன் தன் எல்லைவழியாய்க் கடந்துபோக இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு உத்தரவு கொடாமல், தன் ஜனங்களெல்லாரையும் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, இஸ்ரவேலருக்கு விரோதமாக வனாந்தரத்திலே புறப்பட்டு, யாகாசுக்கு வந்து, இஸ்ரவேலரோடே யுத்தம்பண்ணினான். And Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the wilderness: and he came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel.

24 இஸ்ரவேலர் அவனைப் பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் வெட்டி, அர்னோன் தொடங்கி அம்மோன் புத்திரரின் தேசத்தைச்சார்ந்த யாப்போக்குவரைக்குமுள்ள அவனுடைய தேசத்தைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டார்கள்; அம்மோன் புத்திரரின் எல்லை அரணிப்பானதாயிருந்தது. And Israel smote him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from Arnon unto Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon: for the border of the children of Ammon was strong.

25 இஸ்ரவேலர் அந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் யாவையும் பிடித்து, எஸ்போனிலும் அதைச் சார்ந்த எல்லாக் கிராமங்களிலும் எமோரியருடைய எல்லாப்பட்டணங்களிலும் குடியிருந்தார்கள். And Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof.

26 எஸ்போனானது எமோரியரின் ராஜாவாகிய சீகோனின் பட்டணமாயிருந்தது; அவன் மோவாபியரின் முந்தின ராஜாவுக்கு விரோதமாக யுத்தம்பண்ணி, அர்னோன் வரைக்கும் இருந்த அவன் தேசத்தையெல்லாம் அவன் கையிலிருந்து பறித்துக்கொண்டான். For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon.

27 அதினாலே கவிகட்டுகிறவர்கள்: எஸ்போனுக்கு வாருங்கள்; சீகோனின் பட்டணம் ஸ்திரமாய்க் கட்டப்படுவதாக. Wherefore they that speak in proverbs say, Come into Heshbon, let the city of Sihon be built and prepared:

28 எஸ்போனிலிருந்து அக்கினியும் சீகோனுடைய பட்டணத்திலிருந்து ஜுவாலையும் புறப்பட்டு, மோவாபுடைய ஆர் என்னும் ஊரையும், அர்னோனுடைய மேடுகளிலுள்ள ஆண்டவமார்களையும் பட்சித்தது. For there is a fire gone out of Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon: it hath consumed Ar of Moab, and the lords of the high places of Arnon.

29 ஐயோ, மோவாபே, கேமோஷ் தேவனின் ஜனமே, நீ நாசமானாய்; தப்பி ஓடின தன் குமாரரையும் தன் குமாரத்திகளையும் எமோரியரின் ராஜாவாகிய சீகோனுக்குச் சிறைகளாக ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தான். Woe to thee, Moab! thou art undone, O people of Chemosh: he hath given his sons that escaped, and his daughters, into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites.

30 அவர்களை எய்துபோட்டோம்; எஸ்போன் பட்டணம் தீபோன் ஊர்வரைக்கும் நாசமாயிற்று; மேதேபாவுக்குச் சமீபமான நோப்பா பட்டணபரியந்தம் அவர்களைப் பாழாக்கினோம் என்று பாடினார்கள். We have shot at them; Heshbon is perished even unto Dibon, and we have laid them waste even unto Nophah, which reacheth unto Medeba.

31 இஸ்ரவேலர் இப்படியே எமோரியரின் தேசத்திலே குடியிருந்தார்கள். Thus Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.

32 பின்பு, மோசே யாசேர் பட்டணத்துக்கு வேவு பார்க்கிறவர்களை அனுப்பினான்; அவர்கள் அதைச்சேர்ந்த கிராமங்களைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டு, அங்கே இருந்த எமோரியரைத் துரத்திவிட்டார்கள். And Moses sent to spy out Jaazer, and they took the villages thereof, and drove out the Amorites that were there.

33 பின்பு பாசானுக்குப் போகிற வழியாய்த் திரும்பிவிட்டார்கள்; அப்பொழுது பாசான் ராஜாவாகிய ஓக் என்பவன் தன் சமஸ்த ஜன்ங்களோடும் அவர்களை எதிர்த்து யுத்தம்பண்ணும்படிக்கு, எத்ரேயுக்குப் புறப்பட்டு வந்தான். And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the battle at Edrei.

34 கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: அவனுக்குப் பயப்படவேண்டாம்; அவனையும் அவன் ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரையும், அவன் தேசத்தையும் உன் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தேன்; எஸ்போனிலே வாசமாயிருந்த எமோரியரின் ராஜாவாகிய சீகோனுக்கு நீ செய்தபடியே இவனுக்கும் செய்வாய் என்றார். And the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

35 அப்படியே ஒருவரும் உயிருடன் மீதியாயிராதபடிக்கு அவனையும், அவன் குமாரரையும், அவனுடைய சகல ஜனங்களையும் வெட்டிப்போட்டு, அவன் தேசத்தைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டார்கள். So they smote him, and his sons, and all his people, until there was none left him alive: and they possessed his land.

1 Vaevukaarar kaannpiththa valiyaaka isravaelar varukiraarkal entu therkae vaasampannnukira kaanaaniyanaakiya aaraath raajaa kaelvippattapothu, avan isravaelarukku virothamaaka yuththam pannnni, avarkalil silarai siraipitiththukkonnduponaan. And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners.

2 Appoluthu isravaelar karththarai Nnokki: thaevareer intha janangalai engal kaiyil oppukkoduththaal, avarkalutaiya pattanangalaich sangaaram pannnuvom entu pirathikkinai pannnninaarkal. And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.

3 Karththar isravaelin saththaththukkuch sevikoduththu, avarkalukkuk kaanaaniyarai oppukkoduththaar; appoluthu avarkalaiyum avarkal pattanangalaiyum sangaarampannnni, avvidaththirku ormaa entu paerittarkal. And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah.

4 Avarkal aethom thaesaththaich suttippokumpatikku, or ennum malaiyaivittu, sivantha samuththiraththin valiyaayp pirayaanampannnninaarkal; valiyinimiththam janangal manamativatainthaarkal. And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way.

5 Janangal thaevanukkum Moseskkum virothamaakap paesi: naangal vanaantharaththilae saakumpati neengal engalai ekipthu thaesaththilirunthu varappannnninathenna? Ingae appamum illai, thannnneerum illai; intha arpamaana unavu engal manathukku veraுppaayirukkirathu entarkal. And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.

6 Appoluthu Karththar kollivaaychcharppangalai janangalukkullae anuppinaar; avaikal janangalaik katiththathinaal isravaelarukkullae anaeka janangal seththaarkal. And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

7 Athinaal janangal Mosesyinidaththil poy: naangal karththarukkum umakkum virothamaayp paesinathinaal paavanjaெythom; sarppangal engalaivittu neengumpati karththarai Nnokki vinnnappam pannnavaenndum entarkal; Moses janangalukkaaka vinnnappam pannnninaan. Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. 8 Appoluthu Karththar Mosesyai Nnokki: nee oru kollivaaych sarppaththin uruvaththaich seythu, athai oru kampaththinmael thookkivai; katikkappattavan evano avan athai Nnokkippaarththaal pilaippaan entar. And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

9 Appatiyae Moses oru vennkalach sarppaththai unndaakki, athai oru kampaththinmael thookkivaiththaan; sarppam oruvanaik katiththapothu, avan antha vennkalach sarppaththai Nnokkippaarththup pilaippaan. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

10 Israel puththirar pirayaanappattuppoy, opoththil paalayamiranginaarkal. And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in Oboth.

11 Opoththilirunthu pirayaanam pannnni, sooriyothayaththirku naeraay movaapukku ethiraana vanaantharaththilulla apaareemin maedukalil paalayamiranginaarkal. And they journeyed from Oboth, and pitched at Ijeabarim, in the wilderness which is before Moab, toward the sunrising.

12 Angaeyirunthu pirayaanappattup poy, saaraeth pallaththaakkilae paalayamiranginaarkal. From thence they removed, and pitched in the valley of Zared.

13 Angaeyirunthu pirayaanappattup poy, emoriyarin ellaiyilirunthu varukirathum vanaantharaththil odukirathumaana arnon aattaுkku ippuram paalayamiranginaarkal; antha arnon movaapukkum emoriyarukkum naduvae irukkira movaapin ellai. From thence they removed, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, which is in the wilderness that cometh out of the coasts of the Amorites: for Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.

14 Athinaal sooppaavilulla vaakaepum, arnonin aattaுkkaalkalum, Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the LORD, What he did in the Red sea, and in the brooks of Arnon,

15 Aar ennum sthalaththukkup paayum neerotaiyum movaapin ellaiyaich saarnthirukkirathu ennum vasanam karththarutaiya yuththa pusthakaththil eluthiyirukkirathu. And at the stream of the brooks that goeth down to the dwelling of Ar, and lieth upon the border of Moab.

16 Angaeyirunthu paeyaerukkup ponaarkal; janangalaik kootivarachchey, avarkalukkuth thannnneer koduppaen entu Karththar Moseskkuch sonna oottaு irukkira idam athuthaan. And from thence they went to Beer: that is the well whereof the LORD spake unto Moses, Gather the people together, and I will give them water.

17 Appoluthu isravaelar paatina paattavathu: oottaுth thannnneerae, pongivaa; athaikkuriththup paaduvom vaarungal. Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it:

18 Niyaayappiramaannikkanin aevuthalaal athipathikal kinattaைth thonntinaarkal; janaththil maenmakkal thangal thanndaayuthangalaikkonndu thonntinaarkal entu paatinaarkal. The princes digged the well, the nobles of the people digged it, by the direction of the lawgiver, with their staves. And from the wilderness they went to Mattanah:

19 Antha vanaantharaththilirunthu maaththanaavukkum, maaththanaavilirunthu nakaaliyaelukkum, nakaaliyaelilirunthu paamoththukkum, And from Mattanah to Nahaliel: and from Nahaliel to Bamoth:

20 Pallaththaakkilulla movaapin veliyil irukkira paamoththilirunthu eshimonai Nnokkum piskaavin uchchikkum ponaarkal. And from Bamoth in the valley, that is in the country of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looketh toward Jeshimon.

21 Appoluthu isravaelar emoriyarin raajaavaakiya seekonidaththil sthaanaapathikalai anuppi: And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,

22 Umathu thaesaththin valiyaayk kadanthupokumpati uththaravu kodukka vaenndum; naangal vayalkalilum, thiraatchaththottangalilum pokaamalum, thuravukalin thannnneeraik kutiyaamalum, umathu ellaiyaik kadanthupokumattum raajapaathaiyil nadanthupovom entu sollachchaொnnaarkal. 23 Seekon than ellaivaliyaayk kadanthupoka isravaelukku uththaravu kodaamal, than janangalellaaraiyum koottikkonndu, isravaelarukku virothamaaka vanaantharaththilae purappattu, yaakaasukku vanthu, isravaelarotae yuththampannnninaan. And Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the wilderness: and he came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel.

24 Isravaelar avanaip pattayakkarukkinaal vetti, arnon thodangi ammon puththirarin thaesaththaichchaாrntha yaappokkuvaraikkumulla avanutaiya thaesaththaik kattikkonndaarkal; ammon puththirarin ellai arannippaanathaayirunthathu. And Israel smote him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from Arnon unto Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon: for the border of the children of Ammon was strong.

25 Isravaelar anthap pattanangal yaavaiyum pitiththu, esponilum athaich saarntha ellaak kiraamangalilum emoriyarutaiya ellaappattanangalilum kutiyirunthaarkal. And Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof.

26 Esponaanathu emoriyarin raajaavaakiya seekonin pattanamaayirunthathu; avan movaapiyarin munthina raajaavukku virothamaaka yuththampannnni, arnon varaikkum iruntha avan thaesaththaiyellaam avan kaiyilirunthu pariththukkonndaan. For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon.

27 Athinaalae kavikattukiravarkal: esponukku vaarungal; seekonin pattanam sthiramaayk kattappaduvathaaka. Wherefore they that speak in proverbs say, Come into Heshbon, let the city of Sihon be built and prepared:

28 Esponilirunthu akkiniyum seekonutaiya pattanaththilirunthu juvaalaiyum purappattu, movaaputaiya aar ennum ooraiyum, arnonutaiya maedukalilulla aanndavamaarkalaiyum patchiththathu. For there is a fire gone out of Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon: it hath consumed Ar of Moab, and the lords of the high places of Arnon.

29 Aiyo, movaapae, kaemosh thaevanin janamae, nee naasamaanaay; thappi otina than kumaararaiyum than kumaaraththikalaiyum emoriyarin raajaavaakiya seekonukkuch siraikalaaka oppukkoduththaan. Woe to thee, Moab! thou art undone, O people of Chemosh: he hath given his sons that escaped, and his daughters, into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites.

30 Avarkalai eythupottaோm; espon pattanam theepon oorvaraikkum naasamaayittaு; maethaepaavukkuch sameepamaana Nnoppaa pattanapariyantham avarkalaip paalaakkinom entu paatinaarkal. We have shot at them; Heshbon is perished even unto Dibon, and we have laid them waste even unto Nophah, which reacheth unto Medeba.

31 Isravaelar ippatiyae emoriyarin thaesaththilae kutiyirunthaarkal. Thus Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.

35 Appatiyae oruvarum uyirudan meethiyaayiraathapatikku avanaiyum, avan kumaararaiyum, avanutaiya sakala janangalaiyum vettippottu, avan thaesaththaik kattikkonndaarkal. So they smote him, and his sons, and all his people, until there was none left him alive: and they possessed his land.
